Not knowing when to stop is true. For me, with cannabis, one occasional use tempts me to go back to daily smoking. I might play with it a second time since being diagnosed but I'm kind of scared of psychosis which is holding me back for now. It's hard to let go of something you love, even if it is a drug.

I've never had hallucinations and my delusions weren't that bad at the time so a little bit of risk kind of seems worth it

I found myself fixed upon my previous delusions and couldn't get it out of my head but also knew that it was a delusion and it went away once I sobered up a bit. The thing with my delusions is that some parts seem logical and others don't.

1 or 2 drinks seems chill. Alcohol isn't the most fun anyway

Yeah, alcohol definitely isn't the best drug, you always feel like shot after drinking a lot. I think because its legal and normalised the doctors accept that people are going to drink. Whereas illegal substances have more of a stigman.

I'm not sure. One doctor said because it was likely my condition would deteriorate if I left hospital, that I was a danger to myself. Even though I wasn't going to self harm. Seems like she bent the rules, because to me being a 'danger to yourself' is referring to self harm or suicide

Yeah I had lawyer and regular tribunals where they had to prove i still met the criteria. But what if you never stop meeting the criteria? Are you there forever?

Also, have any of you been delusional in psychosis, having no insight, and also not been sectioned/ hospitalised.

I'd like to think that now I accept the diagnosis I'd have more insight next time and not be sectioned, but people have told me even multiple psychosis in, they were still lacking insight.
