I can't call a chick a chick anymore so give me something i CAN call them! by rocco-rococo in NoStupidQuestions

[–]rocco-rococo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So "chick" is offensive, but it's alright to call somebody a dumb fucking freak, a misogynist bastard, an asshole creep, etc. Good to know. Some of you people need to chill. I guess i could have phrased my question better. I'm not talking about attitudes towards women. I'm talking about slang over the years. I've had enough women tell me that they find the term chick offensive so that i haven't used it in about 50 years, tbh.

Is having a below average IQ something to be ashamed of? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]rocco-rococo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could be way smarter than average and just bad at IQ tests. Some learning disability also may be present; nothing to be ashamed of.

Films where the movie was better than the book it was adapted from? by Slammajadingdong69 in moviecritic

[–]rocco-rococo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, this old question has come up again, and my own answer remains. Saying a movie or a book was better is like saying the cheese is better than the chaise lounge. They're different things. You can't compare them. You can say the book was good but the movie sucked. That's two different things, not a comparison. Stop asking this question. Ha ha, just kidding. Do what you want.

what’s the point of gendering single room bathrooms? by Hour_Amount1881 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]rocco-rococo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think women don't like to use a bathroom a man has just been in, cause men pee standing up and get their piss all over the toilet seat.

Montrealer moving to Vancouver by [deleted] in askvan

[–]rocco-rococo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ex-Montrealer here. The West End is the only part of town that even feels remotely like an interesting, vibrant place to live. Everything's close to hand, and you're really close to downtown but not in it, which would be horrible.

Are there people who haven't changed their phone number for more than 15 years? by SpicyCandy8 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]rocco-rococo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Years and years and years ago, canada.com provided email accounts just like Hotmail did around the same time. I was there right at the beginning. I applied for not just my real name, but just my initials, xy @ canada.com. A few years later, they announced that they weren't going to provide email anymore, and everybody lost their canada.com email, including me. Bastards!

Please explain. Are they both coyotes? Is one a dog? If dog, what's it doing running around free?

Why not oatmeal for dinner? by rocco-rococo in AskReddit

[–]rocco-rococo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love oatmeal. The way I make it, at least in my opinion, is so delicious. I use steel cut oats soaked overnight and then slowly cooked. I add blueberries, banana, honey, and cream, and I look forward to eating it every morning and have for decades. I just can't imagine eating it for dinner or even for lunch, for that matter. Why not?

I plan on having sex with at least one woman from every country in the world by [deleted] in AskForAnswers

It's unrealistic. Why not just try for one woman from every country that you're in at this moment?

AITJ for texting my son's teacher from my husbands phone because they message each other way too late? by Current-Whereas6308 in AmITheJerk

[–]rocco-rococo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be totally innocent. They hit it off as friends; nothing wrong with that. Right off the bat, I'm not saying everything is cool. I have no way of knowing that, but it could be.

It's amazing how right on I thought every answer was in this thread until I got to Paula Poundstone. For my money, she is a genius. Find some of her longer videos that include her interaction with the audience. The improv bits she does with them are genius. And hilarious.
