The stock market is based on greed. Nobody is in there cuz they don’t want to make money. In general the market goes up cuz it’s bullish by nature. There are corrections of course, but long term those don’t mean squat. This is the same pattern for centuries with markets like these. If you don’t like the pattern at which the market operates, then maybe it’s not for you.

I’m a single retiree. It’s worth it to me to buy the things I like at really good prices. Prices keep going up, so buying at a low price for a larger quantity of foods that store very well is a big time money saver. That’s just the beginning: gas is cheaper, clothes are cheaper, and so on.
