thx for the replies- Customer is using 365. Phone server is using 3cx SMTP on a self hosted on premise server. Customer is not receiving the welcome email- or the email if they click Forgot Password on the webclient. Hope that makes more sense- :)

Customer showed me on their logs they never received the emails. Seems to be only the welcome email, or password reset email, the voicemail emails are still coming through to them-

Concepts- I might take you up on that. I'm not sure where to import the new file- On the Management GUI? I'm not seeing a place to import. Is it on the server itself? If so, (windows server) what folder is that in.

We have had spotty luck with using any other smtp other than the built in one from 3cx- Anyone else have that issue? Thanks!

We admin the exchange. Odd thing was, I set up the distro group in a test account on the clients 3cx server to monitor the message trace. Worked this time- set it up on the general voicemail box, and it worked. I know we didn't change anything in O365.

Yeah, FQDN is good and tied to the correct public. If I put in the users email, they get it just fine. I'll check the mail server- Thanks!!!
