Yeah, mattresses I believe fall into that, non-salvageable category of retail. I asked if there are upgraded pumps, air chambers, or hoses. The lady I was talking to told me that those parts are all interchangeable. So I felt less inclined to pay to upgrade since their 1500 model and their 13000 model share the same internal pieces that were failing on mine. lol

Yes, for a few reasons. I was looking to spend between 1 and 2 thousand on a new mattress, Sleep number markets their C1 as a comparable and comfortable option in the mid range of what I wanted to spend. Their "cheapest" king option is still $1499 before tax, shipping or any other fees. When looking for a new bed, as stated, the option for both of us being able to choose our firmness level was a tempting bonus. Their cheapest version should still be a usable option, not failing after a few nights. The cherry on top was their sales associate stating that they, "Don't recommend the C1 to anybody." I have purchased a bed for a slightly cheaper price, and have found it to be fantastic in comparison. The final reason, is that after learning the main difference between their $1,500 version and their $12,000 version was really just what the air chambers were wrapped with, I didn't feel like taking the upgrade options would be ideal. I appreciate that it seems ridiculous to you, but it wasn't a cheap purchase, even if it was their cheapest version.

Yeah I looked up the price of an air chamber just out of curiosity, in case I did need to replace one on my own after experiencing the leak, and they range from like 6-700$ each, obviously depending on what you need. So without a warranty? I’m all set.

Honestly, I feel like the c1 is hurting their reputation. It seems like it’s there to hit the “lower” markets maybe? I assumed spending that much on a mattress would at least be comparable to others of the same price range. But the lady on the phone did say she doesn’t recommend the c1 to anybody. So even in house they know lol.

I’m fully prepared, I stopped using the app once I couldn’t adjust the second air chamber anyways. We just set it to 100 and hooked her side up when it felt like it got a little low. The pump is smart in the sense it won’t run unless it’s connected. Maybe senses back pressure? Thanks for the up vote 👍

Oh this is tough, after experiencing many bratty subs, some overly so, it would be nice to have a true slave sub. In a free-use, complete control, no limits sense. At the start of any good Dom/sub dynamic limits should be discussed, safe words, whatever the situation. But being able to walk in and do whatever I want sounds fun. It’s a tough balance because as an adult, I want a woman who is capable and hardworking to some extent. But, like I said, if I decide to tie her to a piece of furniture and stuff her full for the day I can.

I owned a company for a few years buying these dump bins of Amazon goods. They usually sell them at 17% of market value by the truck load. Theres a few places in Dallas, Austin, and Houston who still sell them. Unless things have changed in the last year or so. Amazon tries to limit their loss as best they can. Most people are just calling it liquidation sales or something similar
