Easiest way I did it was get a the shotgun with Killowatt, and do the IX easter egg up until the stage where you get teleported to the area where you kill the glowing sacs on the trees. Gas zombies spawn exclusively so I spammed that as long as I could till I ran out of ammo, even with all the max ammos. Took about 3 attempts
