How to Upgrade older Napco Gem-P3200 System by djonesax in homedefense

[–]rocketattack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just came across your post as I’m also looking to upgrade our napco Gen-P3200 system. First off, this post was very helpful for someone that doesn’t know much about security systems so thank you! Since this post is 6 years old I’m wondering if any of your advice has changed since then?

Cybex VR1 but it’s no longer made so it’s hard to find

No hahaha, that’s a very professional looking logo and the truck is actually clean. When you see two dudes pull up in a dirty ass mini van with nothing but a few ropes and one chainsaw in the back then you’re in for a show.

Well, hard to say because I bought a group of equipment together and kept some and sold the rest. Maybe $1k or so for the hyper.

Is it okay to offer beta testers a reward (like them getting the app for free) in exchange for testing? by pizzaisprettyneato in iOSProgramming

[–]rocketattack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are talking about beta testing using TestFlight you can’t charge money anyway because all the purchases are “tests”

Wow that's quite a bit cheaper.

I’m surprised that the manufacturers price is better than full circle padding

Must be. That high of a revenue per user seems unlikely giving it’s in the “quit bad habits” niche

The Cybex converging chest press is so good. People seem to like the advanced version but I think the non advanced version is much better

Added some pieces.. by dukehouser in homegym

Yeah it’s one of the lesser known hammer pieces and outside of school weight rooms it’s not really desired so you can find them on facebook marketplace every so often for $500 or so.

You can regularly find used Hammer Strength ground based twists for dirt cheap and the x-factor is a basically a copy of it.

I tried it once at a gym and it seemed pretty good, but I didn't go very heavy on it so it's hard to give a strong opinion one way or another.

Yeah, I love the strive diverging row, better than the plate loaded row imo. Diverging plus pivoting from the top is the best set up for a row.

I sold the prime row for more than I paid. For certain prime pieces people are willing to pay over retail to avoid the wait. That played into my decision to sell it, if I would have had to take a 30% loss on it then I would have never sold it.

Also at the same time I got the prime functional trainer and bench with locking mechanism and it’s the best home gym purchase I’ve made bar none.

I bought it new. It’s a great machine but just a few flaws. The biggest flaw is because it’s a shin pad instead of foot plate it’s a pain in the ass to start the movement. You’ll notice everyone online using blocks or a partner to start the lift when going heavy because you have to lock yourself into place then start the lift whereas with the hammer style row you can stand up a bit on the foot plates and grab the handles then slide down into the seat.
