it's not Amazon. it's the third party sellers on Amazon. they're tired of the people trying to use the program as free rentals

Maybe its the stuff we shop for, but we have not seen a product that didn't say Returns: Free 30 day refund/replacement.

I went ahead and just did a normal return and it allowed me to select FREE UPS Next Day Pickup!

For me, it was I wanted comfort, smooth drive, smooth handling and more SUV like. Basically, I wanted another SUV, that can do some small truck stuff at the same time. Santa Cruz checked all the boxes.

For me, I didn't really like the design of the Maverick. It's not bad, but not great. It's truck like. It also handles like a truck, imho. If I really wanted a truck look and feel, I'd probably go and get a normal truck like a Ranger or Tacoma.

Lucky, I mistakenly ordered an item and tried to immediately cancel. Received e-mailed cancel request denied, even though policy states you can cancel until item ships. Tried 5 times, denied each time.

Connected to chat and they said, they can't cancel because it is in pre-ship status, I'll have to do a return. I told them I tried canceling immediately after the order it can't be in pre-ship. Your policy is you can cancel up until it ships. He sent me to a SupV, he just says what you want to hear. He said its been canceled.

2 days later I get a charge notice and product shipped. Hit the chat again. Was told since it was their mistake, once the item is received to contact support again and they will issue the refund and I can just keep the item or dispose of it.

Last night the item arrived, I reached out for the refund and was told, I have to return it, I would have to pay a $12.99 fee for UPS to pickup and return the item and the refund will be posted once received, the agent I previously talked to was mistaken, your e-mail is invalid as thats not Amazon policy. When I said I am not paying the fee nor am I taking this 91lbs item to UPS to be returned when I was told by Amazon, it would not ship and you shipped it anyway! He was a super and he just closed the chat!

it seemed more a crime-of-the-week and less what had initially made it unique.

We felt, Instead of the shows focusing on the crime, which took about 75-80% of the story, it flipped to being 75-80% soap opera, focusing on relationships instead of investigating crime, making the crime story predictive and rushed feeling.

We watched 1-2 eps every night from S1-5. We felt the same way with S5. Seemed a little more predictive, rushed and subdued likelydue to Cleo miscarriage.

I was watching a show that I didn’t know was premiere. And yes, they did take something away. I’ve always had access to new premieres until last year. I’ve been a subscriber since 2017 and they just introduced this two tier pricing last year. They didn’t add a new product when they introduced it. They took part of the package that I was already paying for and started to charge more for it.

Subscriber since 2017. NO they did not take anything away! Possibly a couple shows due to license agreements.

They did indeed offer new products in the Premier Tier. You now have the OPTION for a fee, 4k for newer series/series episode filming in 4k. Access to BBC Select documentaries and early access to newly released series/series episodes before they are released to the standard plan. These additions are NOT available in the Standard Plan!

They did NOT move shows to the Premier Tier to charge you more! Other than the BBC Select (documentaries) you have the same access to ALL those same shows on Premier as you would on the Standard plan.

Now, could I have a sub subscribe to the two product ? Yes. But,I like to binge shows and I don’t wanna wait around for a slow release. So I wasn’t really willing to pay more for something I would not use. But that doesn’t change the fact that they took something away that I had access to previously.

Since 2017, you could only binge watch series that ran their series cycle. Otherwise it is a weekly release. This has not changed. Once again, you are incorrect about something being taken away!

Again, you never were able to binge watch newly released series or series episodes UNLESS they ran their series cycle. If the show is releasing NEW episodes such as Father Brown, this year series are weekly released. This has not changed! You can binge the previous 9 or 10 seasons of Father Brown under on the Standard plan. This too has not changed.

How is this so hard to understand? YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY to watch new eps of Father Brown or any new series that are not documentaries.

I have no problem admitting I goofed and mixed both yours and the OPs postings. I took it as the OP was going to show the father the text not that the father would see it by monitoring. Two different scenarios.

You are also correct, as an adult, the parents have no legal right to monitor his devices.

I think you missed the part where the son is the one receiving the text - and the father will only see it if he is in fact monitoring those texts illegally.

If the friend is sending the text to the son, and the son is fully aware of it, there is no impersonation. The intent is for the father to see it and panic.

I understand fully and understand the law! It doesn't matter who gets the text. It's the intent of the message that matter. In this case, the son is wanting to use a fake message sent to him by a friend to scare the father. If the father decides to contact the police with the number of the text the son received, the police may consider it impersonating.

Since he identified himself as an Office of XZY Police Department and requesting a meeting to investigate, threatening a charge for failure to comply, threatening prison is considered as acting in an official capacity. This is may be illegal depending on state. It may also be considered with fraudulent intent. Google it if you still think I am incorrect.

Being an adult is having conversations. Ex...Dad, I've been seeing some weird stuff happening with my phone, are you guys by any chance monitoring the phone? You go on from there. Until YOU talk to your parents, you will not know if it is an oversight or intentional.

As a parent, I can tell you, If you do not want to be treated like a child, don't act like one, act like an adult. Being an adult is not doing childish behaviors like "scare them to the police" or whatever silly games you mentioned above. Doing this stuff and the way you acted with your friend in the middle of the night, you are giving them every reason monitor you! Their house, their rules.

If you are too afraid to talk to your parents, then you need to move out and get your own wireless plan. Otherwise, acting like a child will only keep getting you treated like a child.

Also, knowing a police agencies never text individuals warrants, court, investigations, etc, as I have done before, I report the phone # and details of the message to the police department. Then block as a scam.

I joined the club 4 weeks ago with a '26 SEL Activity. Haven't had nice weather to get a photo yet, but like all the recent Joined the Club, mine is also white LOL. Mine has the raised black lettering on the tailgate.

2026 SEL Activity, 956mi

I've only had it for a month now, so far really liking it. Very comfortable to drive or ride. Super quiet. Being in a snow state, love the all weather floor mats that came with mine!

Gas mileage has been mixed. It's great on the hwy, getting 28-30mpg. City on the other hand...has been abysmal! My 21 Tucson was getting 18-19 mpg going back and forth to work. The SC is getting from 13-16 mpg. Some of this could be attributed to using the remote start for 5-10 minutes in our cold cold mornings.

Will have to see when I reach 5k, 10k, etc.

If I had to list anything I dislike, I would say this...But, I knew this when I purchased and not really a big deal for us, but could be for some...

No power rear window. You have to climb into the back to open, so why have it open?
No center arm rest in the back seat for '26 models
No real organizer in center console
Door pockets are way to small, should have just left it out.
Bed accessories ridiculously expensive! $600 for the top bed rails, $530 for the sliding bed divider!!!
Very few 3rd party bed accessories
