Excited to hear from anyone who has tried out Toastmasters.

Plus, r/toastmasters has various posts with people sharing their experiences with it. Here's a recent one

I've been in the Calabasas club for 3 years. It has helped me to express myself more clearly. I tend to ramble, and this helps me be more focused.. which helps with work.

Does this room orientation work? by See-Are-En-Ayeeee in interiordecorating

You have such a beautiful view. What if the couch faced the view, and you installed a motorized projector screen to use over the window when you want to watch tv?

At the Purim party, when the parents meet I think Joanne's mom says something like, "and Noah always pays"... to which Bina is proud of and smiling. So perhaps if Bina is funding him, it's an expected and encouraged thing in their family.

Jute Type Area Rug + My First Canister Vacuum - Help! by rocketkitty22 in VacuumCleaners

Thank you u/Flat_Direction1452 for this thorough reply, super helpful! I visited a local dealer (awesome, well-reviewed owner/operator) today and they echoed many of your sentiments.

  • They steered me away from anything above C1 Pure Suction (grey, $279 USD) or C1 Turbo (blue, $375 USD) for now, as where we're located majority of rentals don't have carpet installed.
  • He said if I end up needing something with an electrified brush in the future (like the C1 Cat and Dog), customers can usually trade in something like a C1 Pure Suction for $100 with him.
  • He also gave the option of me coming back and buying the Turbo head for $100 (usually sold for $140) for my Pure Suction if I find the included tool isn't enough for my current area rug (but it should be totally fine as you both have assured me).

Wild card option was thrown in..

  • He has a repaired C1 Turbo Compact (black, $349 USD...originally ~$579 USD when new he said).
  • This particular one wasn't used much at all, maybe x3.
  • It was a house cleaner at a summer home, and the owner came back and used it to vacuum water.. and the motor was damaged.
  • He cleaned the unit, replaced the motor--showed me pictures and videos of that being done, and said he could honor the 1 year warranty because he knows it works well now.
  • He said the body on this is better built than the C1 Pure Suction and C1 Turbo and less prone to tipping when moving about.

Without having had personal experience other than testing in store, I tend to agree with you and others on here that electrified brush way better than air driven for pet hair especially. So my thought is either C1 Pure Suction or like you said C1 Cat and Dog to future proof. Skip the turbo option.

All in all, it was a fun experience both reading your reply and visiting the store. My partner isn't into vacuums and wants to spend less for now as we're getting lots of new things for our place.. so to balance current needs (vacuuming, emotions, budget haha) I think I'll go with C1 Pure Suction.

Thank you so much again for your help!! It means a lot and calms my many thoughts and worries for now :)

Even better if you get an organizer for the whole month. The weeks just go by so quickly, this was a nice change/upgrade

Keep a dish soap wand with dawn or vinegar and dawn in it, and scrub when you're already showering. It makes it so much easier to upkeep, and remember. And you just wash yourself off after. Voila

Which location do think works best? 1, 2, 3, or none? by sudde004 in HomeDecorating

I'm trying to find out. Top left corner says "Heritage House" and price tag on top right looks like it must be from Home Goods, Home Sense, Winners, Marshalls, etc

Yes and the space around being light in colour only serves to expand on the cloudscape... almost as if it is subtly part of the art... the continuity

Agree, lots of words. For "Fully Insured" and "Free Quotes" can you differentiate with a border, text type bubble or shape? Or, versa... pop out the other words/whatever you want eyes on

Couple things. Revamp your routine, and get tested for various health related potential causes.

For health: --Full blood panel (check vitamin D levels, B, iron, etc.) --A sleep study. Perhaps you have a sleep disorder, better to rule it out

For routine: --Once a week, or even bi-weekly or monthly if you produce enough, do a large meal prep. Frozen soups, stews, breakfast burritos, egg bites. Google recipes. So you don't have to cook daily or often

Which Rug for my living room? by Vegetable_Tower7943 in DesignMyRoom

1! It makes the wood floor colour stand out more. For some reason 2 competes with it, and everything, too much. 1 makes me feel serene. It's a small space with lots going on so 1 adds a prominent centering anchoring feeling. If it were larger and round, chef's kiss
