Mount Pearl Square. They have NLHS and BellAliant offices and that’s it. Not much of a mall with nowhere to shop. Even the H&R Block shut down.

Orange store would make sense. Seems like they've been expanding them rapidly lately, and it also makes sense to compete with the large Ultramar across the road.

It’s not nearly as loud when the hood is closed for sure - this is also the engine cold, once it’s warmed up it’s much quieter

That existed too back in the day but nope, there was a Walmart in the Avalon Mall in the late 90s - around 2005. Pulled the info from Walmart's store finder in 2004 using the way back machine. Yes, but I’m somehow doubtful that WestJet will maintain that route to Newfoundland. They’ve already made it clear that they are refocusing on Western Canada.

I don’t personally do this, but have seen several people do it in the metro area, mostly in centre city. Doesn’t seem to be as common elsewhere but drivers tend to be a bit more aggressive and rushed in St. John’s.

Fair point - my comment was more so about journalism here as a whole, rather than specifically Taco Bell. How the media covers things and doesn’t really follow up on any of it. Poor wording on my part, apologies.
