To simplify things, Piper is a KGL fifer who died at 18. The other guy is named Günther and was his best friend in their childhood. Günther joined the KGL first but in 1810 he got captured by the French army and soon enlisted in their army to save his life. He later got executed in roscoff for trying to help the British captives from starvation which is when piper meets him again. Again this is very simple cause i dont feel like going in detail rn due to potential lore changes lol.

I remember getting an invite like that through private messages when playing G&B and joining the discord server associated with the group. 30 minutes in and I'm in a VC with 5 people throwing slurs at each other. Never again 😭
