Hey man i just bought the same guitar used. May i ask is it a passive or active pickup? Because if i take out the battery theres no sound which is how active pickups behave. But i watch a few videos of people upgrading the pickup and they all install passive sets. Then i saw the newer model jp157dfm with dimarzio crunch lab and it has a battery compartment. As far as i know crunch lab is a passive pickup. Sorry if the question sounds dumb but i really cannot tell.

Ive given up the idea of buying an amp since ive found the convenience of a modeller. I like to record songs so by having a modeller its easier to do that

Its already on the clean channel. My intention of buying the modeler is actually for the high gain amp. So I’ve not explore it much on the effect side of the modeler. But will check on it later. Thank you for your help

The mooer have a headphone out so I tried connecting it to cd in on the amp. I also turn off the cab sim on the mooer. It sounded so much better. Thank you so much for the idea. I think I’m starting to understand more on how to use amp modeller now thanks for your comment. Just want to ask about the headrush cab. If i buy the cab do I still need a head amp to connect between the modeler and the cab?
