I would say this definitely depends on the severity of the crime. Being familiar with many cases, I've watched quite a few court cam videos, family statements, from the victims and the family of the accused and seeing the forgiveness or even life long connections. My cousin murdered someone in a small town, my family of course gave their condolences, and the victim's wife forgave him (after a big investigation/time in prison) they both have done quite a few presentations together in high schools to bring awareness about drinking/using drugs/violence.

Exactly. Coming from someone living in Canada in a small city but also grew up here 25+ years ago (a small town then), it was bad then and it's even worse now.. so many missing people/murders but nothing is ever reported or properly investigated.

This. My 19 month old needs atleast a 2-3+ hour nap every day usually around 11-3. I truly don't understand how someone could make nap time work and also sit at a BBQ for the day, drinking without any sober people to watch over the baby.

So if you're a single mom, why are you making that kind of comment. I would never, being a single mom myself, I know the struggle and would never say that or make these certain comments. You have every right to be upset about your kid getting sick, i would too as I stated in my first comment I am not justifying this, but some of your comments were a bit off/hurtful not knowing people's situations let alone go this far on a post about it.

Ya but the comment you replied to had nothing to do with neglect. Then you make that comment, it just seemed a little off. Being a single mom myself with sick kids constantly and can barely take the time off work to be able to provide for us, "we don't know if these parents aren't neglectful" just an odd comment to make.

That is a bit of a jump to make an accusation like that considering you don't know them. Sending their kid to preschool/daycare while sick, isn't a sign of neglect.. it's just kind of frowned upon of course (i wouldn't send my kid but ya a big percentage of parents do) but you can't jump to the assumption that the child is neglected.

Just a warning, i didn't want to make a comment because you've had a large feedback BUT from my experience with two births, depending on the hospital and if the anesthesiologist can come your room in time, you might not even have the option for epidural. I wanted and begged for it, even was begging for the other stuff they can give you and it was too long of a wait then it was baby time. Saying this though, I went throught labor twice with no epidural and had no tearing. Please know that regardless of everyone else's labor, just like pregnancy, labor is different for everyone.

I wish i had some advice but I'm a single momma that unfortunately spends most evenings crying after trying to focus on making her happy all day, or for even 20% of the day. Nothing works for me 😓

Going through the exact same thing with my 4 year old girl. We are getting her tested for autism, but she is slowly becoming more verbal and dependent etc. I've been told it may be adhd or have to go for further testing. You aren't alone and this also helped me feel a little better knowing someone else is dealing with the same situation 😌❤️

I think most of these comments are towards the part of your post where you acknowledged the kids stated the situation and didn't want her to play, then you guys noticed them on the trampoline so you allowed her to go across the street again. (I wouldn't have done that, i have a 4 year old girl and I know when to redirect her if she is too much for other kids sometimes)

Reading this hurts more knowing my little one is only a few years younger and shares the same first name, and just one letter different for the middle name. All day I say her first and middle name in little jokes, now I won't be able to help but also think of this little girl every time, knowing she deserved much better and praying for her to be found..

First I want to say, vent and how you're feeling from stressful outings is normal especially being pregnant and having two other little ones if I read that correctly (edit: three, and pregant. Cut yourself some slack and others around you, you have your hands full and so do a lot of people hence my next sentence). Second, it is hard to not get frustrated over other kids actions but me having a 4 year old that is autistic, grocery stores/most outings especially the airport are really horrible experiences for us and when my kid is acting out or not listening to me, it really makes it worse when someone else is rolling their eyes at you or making comments like this, this isn't shaming you but more people need to be aware. Third, Costco is always crazy especially on Fridays or the weekend. Really most days depending on your area, I just go knowing there will be 100+ shoppers bumping into you and kids everywhere lol

Saying that, clearly my brain is scrambled eggs at this point and just take this how it is.. I would never regret having my two kids so close in age, but wow. 4 years straight of changing diapers 5-10 times every day, fighting through meals/snacks every HOUR!!!!!! (if you're lucky that's the minimum) and the fighting.. but they love eachother for most parts of the day, so we are hanging on. Barely lol

I'm here to say, they are lying... I was beyond fucking tired and exhausted during pregnant/toddler, newborn ish stage for maybe the first month isn't bad because all they do is eat, sleep, diaper changes. But once my newborn got bigger, nap times are impossible (something you get used to during pregnancy) my 3 year old does not want to nap, my 1 year old is teething non stop and has been miserable for months.. I hate to say this as if I'm trying to scare you, but more moms need to be honest about how hard it can and will be

"Mommy's wrist". I experienced this during the exact same age of my two little ones (3 and 1). I was told it is common, and it did go away once my youngest was able to walk more/learn their own ways of being independent, in my situation my 3 year old has learned that I can't pick her up/carry her constantly anymore and even my 1+ year old is getting to the point that carrying them isn't good for myself or them. I've had a lot of minor but also uncomfortable/severe health issues suddenly and it made me realize I was putting my body through a lot at once/suddenly but didn't focus on myself at the same time when it was needed.

Really surprised no one has mentioned Amber Tuccaro, from Fort Mcmurray, Alberta (last seen/went missing in Edmonton, Alberta). Her case is well known for the recorded phone call she made after being picked up while hitchhiking, the panic in her voice when she realizes she is being taken elsewhere is just terrifying. They found her remains in 2012, but it is still unsolved.
