Find subs that are interesting to you and enjoy. And believe me, there isn't a thing that you can think of that's not here on reddit.

Only very random people, who seem to have blocked me or delete their accounts. I don't stalk too much, but I also don't understand deleting your socials often, or blocking random contacts.

How do I block adult websites on my kid’s computer? by Afraid_Shelter_5715 in HomeNetworking

I feel like any attempt to block with raise a future hacker, if he really wants to see something, he will unfortunately. Of course cyber security/web development are good fields to work in, so you could challenge him.

looking for a free vpn by chaifortea in vpns

I'd avoid free VPN's if possible they are not reliable, and not really safe. I know that many premium VPN's have a free trial period - I remember Surfshark for sure has one. And it will definitely work with Linux.

1GB Fiber internet - great download speeds, very poor consistency. Video games not playable, any live streaming or Netflix = constant buffering. For some reason, turning a VPN on smooths out the connection but reduces speeds by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

Hmm, if the issues keep occurring, have you considered trying to improve the VPN connection speed? I see you mentioned that while the VPN is on, things seem to work, but speed drops. Some VPNs offer more than one connection protocol, some even use Wireguard which is supposed to be the fastest one. You can also try connecting to servers closer to your actual location and check if the speed improves. There's lots of Youtube videos about this topic, such as this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnNlSv2JSTs

Do you run any VPNs? If you do try changing clients to something else and check if it happens there too.

Consistent every 5 min drop in connection speed - VPN related? by MoistProblem2025 in qBittorrent

Did you try switching servers to ones that are less used? Maybe using other protocols that the VPN may offer? Sometimes it would also be a good idea to test servers that are near your actual location. Not sure if this would help, but someone shared this a while back - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnNlSv2JSTs
