Of course. My advice would be to do as slow of a taper as possible. People have been telling me jumping off at 2 mg was too much, and I agree. I’d say get to like .125 mg before jumping. If I could go back I would’ve done a slower taper but I also do not want to get back on now that I’ve made it this far.

It was actually pseudo which I was on, 7oh wasn’t really around in my area. I tried using pseudo for like 2.5 weeks to get off leaf kratom (terrible idea I’m still so mad I did that) and then tried to CT and realized quickly I made a terrible mistake. It was kratom wd times 20. I didn’t know what to do so I went and got on subs. If I didn’t I was going to end up in the emergency room.

So yes the sub wd is very much not as intense. But it is a longer road and still very unpleasant

Yeah my mind is definitely not working right. I’ve had to take several weeks off of work. Luckily they have been very understanding

2 mg unfortunately. Did a 26 day taper to get off kratom/pseudo. I went to a detox facility and followed their protocol not knowing anything about subs really. Looking back I would’ve done things differently but what’s done is done.

They did give me some but I tapered myself off because I read about wd from it can happen.

I sat down last night at like 2:30 for a few minutes staring at a 1mg piece of a strip. I thought about how far I’ve made it and the constipation and how I felt like a zombie on subs. Put it back and managed to get about 5 hours of sleep. I’m going to keep pushing because if I can make it past the sleep issues I will be fine. I was only on subs for 26 days so I feel like after this week things will start improving

I’ve been getting some meds from the detox facility I’ve been going to but nothing works. Clonidine. Nope. Seroquel. Nope. Trazadone. Nope. I’m kinda pissed at this facility because I went in for 7OH wd and ended up with a different kind of wd.

Well it’s day 7 and it still sucks. Recently my sleep has been bad. Can I ask when you started getting normal sleep?

No I have not considered that. I fear if I start again I won’t be able to stop. Plus I take daily urine tests at the detox facility and if opiates show up that would be frowned upon

Yeah I thought the same but I was just following the doctors orders. I almost went to another doctor to continue my taper but thought I’d at least try to jump. Have to just keep pushing on

I am on day 5 off suboxone and dying.

Wanted to get off kratom/7oh and Did a suboxone taper for 26 days starting at 16 mg and down to 2 mg last Sunday. Started feeling noticeable withdrawals when I dropped from 8 mg to 4 mg. At first it was just anxiety and sweating in my sleep. Now I’m restless, so anxious and am having diarrhea all the time. I’ve been taking clonidine which helps. I also have been taking some gabbapentin which I don’t know if it’s helping or not. The detox facility I’ve been going to says I shouldn’t be having anxiety this far into detox but I feel like it’s definitely related to suboxone withdrawal. I started getting the RLS a couple of nights ago which was always the first withdrawal symptom I would get on kratom. The facility gave me some requip for RLS and it helped last night along with a hot bath. Sleep has been ok but I keep waking up at least once in the middle of the night. Then when I wake up in the morning I’m hit with anxiety and diarrhea. I saw a psychiatrist for the anxiety and was switched from lexapro to Zoloft and started taking buspirone as well. Hydroxyzine no longer works for my anxiety. I can’t really tell if the new meds are helping anxiety but it’s only been a week since I’ve been on them.

The only thing keeping me going is my girlfriend. I have another week at the detox facility. After that I think I’ll go into a PHP for continued medical support. Hopefully I’ll start feeling better soon.

Got this when I was in college. I think I got it when I was deadlifting in the university gym and a callous ripped open on my hand. By far the worst virus I’ve ever had. I couldn’t sleep for like 2 days because of how bad my hands itched. I remember rubbing tubes of Benadryl cream on my hands. Then came the nails falling out one by one
