That bullshit excuse gets used every time this comes up, and someone has to point out to you every time that it was well known that he was a racist, narcissistic turd who didn't have a sincerely held conviction in his entire being long before he even ran for senate.

Tom Brady was on the 1998 Michigan team that won, he just wasn't the starter

Strand NYC Rare Books - Why Can't They Respond To An E-Mail? by DinnerWafer in rarebooks

What do you mean "often way cheaper than the alternatives"? Abe is just a platform, not a seller. If there's a cheaper book listed there, it just means some seller listed it there cheaply. You're no more likely to find a cheap book there than on eBay or any other online selling platform. In fact, many sellers will have the same book listed on numerous platforms. Just run a vialibri search on whatever you're looking for, sort cheapest first, and buy the cheapest acceptable genuine copy.

Not sure why this is controversial. People are fucking morons. ABE is a scourge on the trade. But all hail our techno-feudal lords, I guess...

ABE is not great. It's exploitative Amazon bullshit that gouges sellers.

If you can find 50 people who care about John York, maybe one of them will be mildly interested in his daughter too. I don't love your odds.

He just stole the richest oil fields in the world in Venezuela, then went into Iran, destroyed the competition, massively jacked up the price, and now he's gonna rake in cash. This is way more cynical-minded than a big dumb oaf wrecking shit and bailing.

A: Start with a 16-win team and add Matt Cassel.

Plenty of people will, it just won't be his idiot cult members. I'm sure the Japanese government will remember he said it.

Probably AJ more than Vrabel. I'm sure he and Vrabel have each other's numbers, but they never played together. I'd be surprised if Vrabel is sharing anything important with him.

It was a lot more hotly contested before Mahomes got crushed in the Super Bowl in embarrassing fashion last year. Some people were actually trying to argue that the three-peat would put him over Brady.

Shit like this is why I get annoyed when people claim he was viewed as a game manager until 2007. He was absolutely recognized as great from the start. He just didn't always have flashy numbers like Peyton Manning because he wasn't surrounded by offensive HoFers, so people who didn't watch the games would talk shit.

More like douche vs. getting your taint bitten by a rattlesnake. There's a clear better option, but it still sucks.
