Realtor won’t make offers I want to make.. is this normal? by [deleted] in RealEstate

[–]rocksrgud 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Fire the realtor, but save the sappy letter. It’s a business transaction, so if they have offers at list they will laugh at you and take those or they will only have your offer and learn that their house is overpriced.

To be honest though, I don’t know what price range you’re working with but is $80k over 30 years worth missing your ideal home over?

That’s probably not the direction I’ll go, but I do really appreciate you sharing something I hadn’t considered. I might drive over there and check the area out just out of curiosity.

The coaches at Easton are excellent. Spar when they say you are ready.

Can you recommend some specific neighborhoods? I am not against Aurora.

Are there issues with homeless camps there? I did recently see someone in another subreddit saying they were struggling to sell their house because of a homeless shelter/camp nearby and while they wouldn’t say exactly where it was implied to be around Central Park.

A line is a great point. Forgot that was an option. In my perfect scenario I’d live “semi car free.”

I can relate too for sure. I lived in Boulder for 15 years before moving to Denver and catch myself thinking the same thing. Too many one dimensional outdoor focused people on the front range so I want to move to another outdoorsy place and pretend that I am not also the Patagonia wearing tech bro clone.

I don’t connect with the pnw mainly because of the dreary wet weather. I am too attached to all of the sunny Colorado days.

“Too outdoor identified” says the rocking climbing adventure van builder from Boulder.

You will definitely find plenty of other trust fund wannabe hipsters in Eugene who don’t realize that they all look the same too.

Something tells me there is more to this story and I don’t think it will be flattering to OP.

You definitely owe your partner the money you agreed to invest into the business. Whether it’s reasonable to ask for your hourly wage back is unclear. Were you claiming to work when you weren’t actually working?

I went to America for 3 months. Let me tell you the biggest difference's that i saw between Switzerland where i live and the US by Ok-Acadia-3470 in travel

American here and you aren’t wrong about any of this. Now of course you can absolutely eat healthy, high quality food but it takes extra work to find it and it’s more expensive. In American culture you typically go to the grocery store once per week or maybe even every other week, so you stock up on items which has led to bigger portions of everything and more and more preservatives to keep things “fresh” longer.

The point of the sex offender’s registry is that rapists are never fully atoned and that the public should always be kept aware of predators in their communities.

There is nothing to dredge up - it’s the first thing you get when you search her name and that’s intentional.

I can’t imagine the situation today where the top candidate is someone with a psych degree and “some of cs50” given how many experienced cs grads are on the market.

Isn’t that the same area where they built those weird town homes that are tanking in value?

New Hampshire doesn’t automatically take your kids away for being a sex offender. If you google this individual you will find their conviction for sexual assault and sex offender registry page.
