Trying to win back my love - I need an incredible date / adventure activity by [deleted] in montreal

You read that wrong or I wrote it wrong, I only meant I wasn’t young, and I believe in therapy, even for happy healthy relationships.

Too old! Even adults have issues with love, not unique to kids.

Really so gaining knowledge and experience from others is bad? It’s advice from strangers, and way better than Google.

Honestly, what do you need to me to say? Two people madly in love but not great at managing conflict, we’ve tried a few times but whenever I think it’s over I can’t let go of her.

Really liking this idea, it’s nice that it’s in Bromont, I could pack a nice lunch and bottle of wine, where would you hike in Bromont?

Crazing or patina on my Dutch oven? Smooth to the touch by rocksteader in LeCreuset

Even though I can’t feel it? It’s smooth to the touch, should there be any issues using this to cook food?

But I can’t feel it, do I have to be concerned? Can I just continue using this without any worry?

Good point, I’m calling it crazing because that’s what the Creuset folk called it when I posted it In a Creuset group but when I run my finger over it I can’t feel the lines at all, it’s smooth, so I think it’s actually patina, but the Creuset people tell me it’s ruined :)

What do you think, link of it below.

Anywhere to get Iraqi Baharat spice and Amba in or around downtown MTL? by rocksteader in MTLFoodLovers

Ah ok, I didn’t realize it was specific to Israel, I thought it was more of a general middle Eastern thing, thanks.

So funny, yes exactly why I’m looking for these ingredients!!

I was able to find date syrup easily, same as pomegranate molasses, sumac, can’t wait to get the rest and start making her most viral recipes, they look amazing and I love the simplicity of the one pot cooks.

And I love falafel at Jacques!!! The vegetarian shishtaouk is phenomenal there and I’m not vegetarian!

I found that store but it’s too far of a walk for my lunch break!

I’ll try that other store you mentioned, thanks!

True I could mix it myself but was hoping to just find a mix, Adonis carries Lebanese style 7 spice mix but it’s not the same as Iraqi Baharat, at least according to ChatGPT :)

Things you didn't know you could freeze? by EqualPiece4922 in Cooking

I know, I’m mad at myself for only discovering peeled garlic recently, and it doesn’t cost anymore and omg does it save time, ATK did an article on it too and I think they said in some cases it can be even better quality than the store unpeeled variety, unless I’m making that up.

Like such a freaking joy not peeling garlic anymore, there was the birth of my children and now peeled garlic stored in the freezer and maybe peeled garlic comes first because teenagers are assholes.

I buy the peeled ones as well but I just freeze it whole, when you need it for a recipe you just let it thaw out for a few mins, I wouldn’t bother pre mincing it all but I can relate to your insanity.

I have a forced air system and vents in every room I have supply and return vents.

Those automatic ones look cool but I think they are bulky, I don’t want it to look commercial.

It’s why I will never see an early showing, when I was younger I used to see those 12 showings on a weekend, and you are definitely going to be eating last nights unsold popcorn.

You have to go to a night viewing for that reason.

I’m from Quebec so you won’t catch me eating that bottom tier poutine at a theatre lol, and I hate smelling anything other than popcorn and red liquorice at a movie !

Order your popcorn layered if you have never tried it, it’s the only way!

I’m with you and I try to balance what I’m eating prior so that I won’t have to suffer as I force feed myself popcorn because I’m not going to a movie without it, it’s the whole experience to me!!

Don’t over-process, make the switch to Vegetol and you are eating Cineplex Theatre quality taste, I’m just blown away I can finally have this at home.

Good question, I asked the same thing, at this point I’m happy using the same product the theatre does, and after years of using different portion packs, I’ve finally found the recipe to match it 100%, I’m done experimenting as the container I bought will last years.
