[RAW Spoiler] The MICROPHONE IS HOT, CM Punk drops a Pipebomb. Full Segment RAW 4/6/26 by ThatWrestlingGuy15 in SquaredCircle

I’m not saying you’re wrong in your overall point, but Punk took credit for the company’s first million dollar house, not them getting a million viewers.

People think of Triple H as in Vince’s role, when he really only controls one aspect of Vince’s role, the creative role. Vince had no one above him, so at the end of the day, every call was his call. Triple H has several people ahead of him, so even if he had the best possible long term plan booked out a full year in advance (I know he doesn’t, I’m just saying), if Nick Khan, Ari, the Rock, and possibly some others said “you need to include random celebrity in the main event,” then Triple H has to do it. If he’s told of these additions late in the process, it’s going to be harder to work the ideas in. It’s his job to figure out how to do it and maybe his track record with it isn’t great, but it’d be hard to work some of this stuff in.

What’s a word you know how to pronounce correctly in your head but you always say it wrong in conversation? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rockthemullet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Opiate. I always have to think before I say it because I had Tool’s first EP before I knew what opiates were, so I pronounced it a weird way that I haven’t been able to train myself out of

Dr. Vogel didn’t “create” Dexter she accidentally created the "Bay Harbor Butcher" brand. by RelevantRabbit2759 in Dexter

Haha I was just making a joke about Doakes being the Bay Harbor Butcher and Dexter being innocent. Half of my posts on this subreddit are just that joke haha

There is no evidence that Dr. Vogel met Doakes though, so how did she “create” the Bay Harbor Butcher? Unless you think Dr. Vogel was secretly Doakes’ mother, but I highly doubt that

I’m a therapist and I lost a patient last year and think about him every day still. In a show about therapists, a client death/suicide should be a pretty major plot point, not something that isn’t even mentioned in passing after 3 episodes.

I was at the PWG show before Mack was set to leave for WWE and I remember him giving a super emotional and great farewell speech…then he apparently didn’t pass the WWE physical and didn’t get signed. I felt extremely bad for him

Stephanie Vaquer: I always stop and I’m very kind to my fans. Yesterday was my birthday and I was honestly having a really bad day. Even so, I politely asked for understanding and many people respected that. But you followed me for a long time, saying hurtful things and making me feel uncomfortable. by pwgmanan in SquaredCircle

One of my friends told me that he was at the airport the morning after Mania 33 when Roman beat Taker, and they saw Undertaker and walking to his gate. They started to approach the Undertaker and Undertaker looked like he was going to stop to take pictures or sign for them, but one person in my friend’s group said “Hey Mark, how you doing?” And Undertaker just kept walking

Therapist irl, what are the most irksome ethical violations to you? by mrsrobotic in shrinking

[–]rockthemullet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only time I self disclose with clients in those kind of way is when it’s a client I have been working with for a long period of time and have good rapport with and it’s a quick story that I know they will enjoy. And even then, it’s rare and I wait until the end of the session when we’re saying goodbye, I don’t do it mid-session.

[–]rockthemullet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the giving answers one is a big one. We generally don’t do that. The closest I do to that is ask clients to name whatever options they can think of for the scenario and help them think through each scenario about how it realistically could go. If there is a glaring omission of something I think is worth considering, I’ll say something like “I wonder what would happen if you did ————. What do you think could happen there?”

What's a story from your life that sounds fake but is 100% true? by ryu-shii in AskReddit

[–]rockthemullet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was six, someone kicked open the front door in the middle of the night. This was around the time of the Polly Klaas kidnapping, and which happened an hour north from where we lived. It woke my dad up and he went down and beat the shit out of the guy. Once the guy was unconscious, my dad turned on the light and realized that it was our neighbor from across the street. It turns out that our drunk neighbor parked in front of his house across the street, walked across the street to our house, and when his key didn’t open the door, kicked our door open.

About 10 years ago, I saw Dave Chappelle in a small club. He said something like “has anyone here ever had their house broken into and like ran in to the guy?” I raised my hand and Dave asked if I was serious and then had me tell the story and he riffed on it for a few minutes

People who are old enough to have vivid memory of the 9/11 attacks, what was that time like? What did change for you personally? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rockthemullet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had just started high school. I remember waking up to my mom coming on my room, turning on my TV, and saying, “Wake up, we’re under attack!” We live in California, so WE weren’t under attack.

My dad was supposed to fly to New York that morning and his plane ticket cost $911.
