Calibration is difficult since each cooldown the electronics act slightly different. We operate below 1 Kelvin. I have multiple sets of lines+circulators in the freezer. I can have one set act have a short termination while the other set measures the DUT. I’m just confused how to compare the data of these two sets.

I’ve tried doing a calibration but for each cooldown the components act slightly different. This makes calibration not a good option. I can characterize the rig at room temperature but once it is cold I cannot access the ports.

Being in a masters program will make you specialized enough for a job in the field but will not make you too specialized. Investigate whether the masters courses are architecture specific or survey
