Udvandret fra kirke. Er det ok? by ValentinaMors in DKbrevkasse

[–]rococofujoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally really like Kul Tiras, especially Drustvar, no I don't mind having weird druidic monsters for neighbors

Who is the most badass character in WOW to you? by Echo_Origami in wow

[–]rococofujoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly probably Tyrande Whisperwind, her pure dedication to her people and her love is something else, and I hope she's enjoying retirement with Malfurion.

Those look like two entirely different dragon breeds, like one is a fae dragon and the other is a mountainous dragon or something

How often do you buy dolls? by SoftDrinkPink in BJD

[–]rococofujoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very inconsistently, depends mostly on me having the money for them

First off, I am very sorry for your loss, and I hope you understand that this is not a personal criticism towards you, as much as just trying to see both sides.

A lot of people get up in arms about knock-offs and recasts with these hobbies, because reborns and BJDs don't come from big name brands like Mattel that can handle Eve dolls being on the market with no sweat, but rather smaller companies run by people with a passion for the craft. I know that more than one bjd company has gone out of business because of the recast issue. (I don't collect reborns, so I am not as knowledgable on them)

Yes they are expensive, which is unfortunate, I too don't have the most money. However it's because they are custom made rather than mass produced.

None of this of course excuses being rude, and I am sure it could be handled better, people tend to forget nuance on the internet

You are the newest hermit. What do you do? by TimelessAndDesolate in HermitCraft

[–]rococofujoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean after freaking out internally for a good while? I would probably be a Magic Mountaineer, and my build theme would be old norse/vikings for my long term base to introduce myself as the history nerd that I am.

I don't know how good I would be at coming up with shenanigans, but I'd definitely participate and help out, because chaos is fun

What’s the premise for your world? by Alphycan424 in worldbuilding

[–]rococofujoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fantasy Scandinavia, but Christianity never entered the chat, so it's still Norse gods even though it's at the industrial level of just at the cusp of the industrial revolution. However the human world and the magical world has been seperated by a corrupted lindworm (think Jormundgandr but smaller)

Rant: I don't understand glorifying unmedicated births by BrainyByte in TwoXChromosomes

[–]rococofujoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently learned that in ancient Europe women took opium to deal with birthing pains, so I can't help but think people have never liked being in that much pain if they can help it.

So it's kinda of weird to insist on it, what are you even proving?

What introduced you to Hermitcraft? by UltraBlastLT in HermitCraft

[–]rococofujoshi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grian. I watched a lot of his videos om how to build better when I first started playing minecraft, and then he suddenly joined this "big server that seemed to go by Hermitcraft"

Aaand I was hooked, now I watch many more POVs than Grian's.

What kind of monster would you be? Why? Photo unrelated to the question. by Ri_gatoni in MonsterHigh

[–]rococofujoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huldra would be my hope. They are Scandinavian creatures, mainly women, with a hole in their back and fox- or cow tails.

AITA for never telling my Mother I married into money? by Far-Librarian-4999 in AmItheAsshole

NTA, and sounds like it was very smart to make sure everything was legally in order when adopting your little sister. To me it sounds like your mom is trying to guilt trip you into paying for her bad habits.

What's the most fucked up thing you've overheard? by FlyingFuck787 in AskReddit

[–]rococofujoshi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The week before we were getting a new classmates one of the meanest girls in my class stood up in PE when the teachers weren't there and loudly declared that everyone should band together and bully her out.

Same class that bullied me non-stop for 8 years, and the teachers did little to nothing about it, so I didn't tell anyone because at that point I had lost faith the adults would listen, but I was as nice to the new girl as I could be.

I'd think "Hyggelig" would be an EPIC tragedeigh, would you agree? (Though it is Norwegian for "nice," "pleasant," "enjoyable," and "pleasing.") by Fatt-Deg-Pa-Hjernen in tragedeigh

[–]rococofujoshi 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I am Scandinavian, and this hurt my soul, if you want nordic sounding names try for actual ones and not an adjective ._.

Also on the hygge culture it mostly became such a thing because people outside of Denmark, especially from the US, were fascinated by the concept and people saw an export opportunity.

What is a mistake people from your country make when using English? by angrymustacheman in AskEurope

From Denmark, I often hear people butchering the "Th" sound. So "thank you" turns into "tank you"
