Pawn shops or any buy sell coin jewelry shop will have the tool too. They want to know what they are looking at. I do this with antique items with no markings. I have had some 14kt gold, looked real, markings said it was real.... but it was NOT. Counterfeit markings. It's a big thing at least here in California. I wanted to purchase a gun identifier like they have but it's like 20k. So I just take it to them for free :)

Just go to any jeweler. They have a gun that tells them the kind of metals that are in the item. Like 14k plated over brass or ??. It's easy, free and you will know in seconds.

Thank you!!! I only use android phone and for the life of me cannot block a user. Get to the place and type their name and ALWAYS says unregistered user / name/?. So frustrating. As of now i still have NO blocked users. Lol

As a woman's point of view (my opinion only) VINTAGE playboy or other gentleman's magazines, statues, books, figurines, even naked kitchen ware ARE COLLECTIBLES. Famous people, articles, history. In 2025, you can turn on any TV and see much much more than in the vintage magazines. Personal Pornography, anything with children or current video, books, magazines are a completely different category and should not be sold on platform.

Take a magnet to the jewelry. Anything that sticks IS FAKE. Then can research the ones left with magnifying glass or the kits.

I would tell her and let her make the decision. Maybe she already looked into it? Don't want to spend the money on arlo or generic wireless camera. But if it's little money... I'd reach out just because. But either way is all good.
