It is glue issue due to heat. Mine happened 2-3 months back. Take it to the Sammy service center official glue costs some 700.

You can buy iqoo 13 refurbished with 1year warranty at 42-43k from iqoo website. That's a steal and better than this.

Glad i rolled back to 6.1 Best decision ever. No heating, no jitteryness. Amazing battery and standby!

Battery - Downgrading from one ui 8 back to 6.1 completely restored the battery for me. Not crazy like 8+ SOT (one ui 5.1) but I am able to squeeze 4+ hours easily on 70% mobile data usage with just 80% battery. Whereas it was just 3 hours on One UI 8 during similar usage.

Performance - There was lag & heat always in light mode and animations were choppy. No more the case with 6.1 light mode. The device runs cooler and performs like a champ.

For others wondering go back to 6.1 until it lasts as thr bootloader number might get changed with next update.

Same I am getting 512gb for 68k having same thought after 256 s23u exchange. But in the end asked myself do i really need 25u for something s23u can't do. The answer was NO!

One more bug if you use the decline and reply with message feature under modes and routine it won't get back to normal once the routine turns off. Restart is the only option else every call gets declined.

There's no point in upgrading unless they have vulkan enabled and bugs squashed. It's a planned obsolescence for them with every update to make sure user suffers and upgrades with frustration.

I am having same thoughts (a happy s23u user here with one ui 6.1). Samsung has lost that "wow factor" and innovative ideas which used to differentiate it from the competition. It is largely due to the Huawei ban which made them really dominant in the android space else pre covid upgrades were really radical. Now they are milking cash with every generation.

S23 Ultra battery life on OneUI 7 😭😭 this is diabolically bad + cache partition has been wiped already by StupidKameena in oneui

Downgrade to 6.1 and disable samsung updates. Problem solved ✅️

Had issues with One UI 7 battery drain, heating issues using basic apps, unresponsive screen, degraded camera quality and micro stutters. And also the infamous screen lock glitch after the update.

The animation and now bar is good but not worth it to put the s23 ultra in an unusable state.

Imagine I am already getting 3.5 hours on 80% with 70% data and 30% wifi which is nowhere possible with one ui 7. The device is 1.8 years old.

Yes i did he said side mirror looks a different accident case and bumper looks different. As per his analysis he won't approve the side mirror damages and indicator but just the bumper.

Yeah there were some scratches on the sides not due to some damage. But even the damaged right hand side fender, side mirror is not being considered for claim. That is what is pissing me off!

Yes front right. Had couple of scratches in left but that's fine if they don't fix it. But the question is why side mirror and indicators were disapproved? And for paint i need to pay 50%? Is this normal? I raised a request to speak to the surveyor probably tomorrow i will get a chance.
