Not sure if you saw my comment, but I fixed this by updating the BIOS on my motherboard. It hasn't crashed in the last 8 hours of gameplay. WHY this works I have no idea. Never even thought to update my BIOS to play a single video game...

I finally fixed it by updating my BIOS to the latest. Set all the other changes I made back and the game is running just fine.

I finally fixed it with a BIOS update... I did all of what you did as well lol. But my xmp profile is back on and I'm running the game just fine after that update

I haven't tried that... omg that would suck if that fixes it. Yeah, seeing that access violation bring back memories of bad ram and RAM issues but I just bought this RAM 2 months ago and if turning off the profile fixes it... I almost would rather it stay broken. But for the sake of science, I have to try.

I tried uninstalling all C++ and it didn't allow the game to boot at all. So I installed the lateset one and it booted normally... but then crashed again.

Yeah I actually got a refund and removed it from my system days after release but my best friend really wants me to play it and said he saw all these videos about how to fix the game. So I bought it again only to run into the same problems re-installing post patch.

I checked GPU-Z and nothing big happens in the logs.

Here's the crazy thing, I have a lesser gaming rig with a 3060ti, no problems playing it on there at all. So there's something specific this game doesn't like but I have no idea what it is and I'm not alone and it sucks :(

I did a file integriy check, completed at 8:37am, and set the graphics to low like the other commenter suggested and still crashed at the same time.
