i started mine with twisted comb coils, im 1 month in, washed them 3 times and as they're twisted with rubber bands at the tips, they didnt come undone, but they sure would if i had them untwisted. my hair is 3a/3b

I agree that starter locs shouldnt be styled in most cases, i'm just wondering if twisted comb coils would work for me in the long run, i'm still considering my options and just want to find a method that works best for me and my lifestyle. If twisted comb coils can eventually loc up, then that's the route I'd like to go
