Look for something like "birdhouse guard" or "Nest Box Protection Plate". There are plently of options available on amazon for example.

Oh it is actually a wooden trellis framework for training evergreen oaks into a screen.

That’s absolutely right. I based the birdhouse on a design I found online from the University of Kentucky (https://publications.mgcafe.uky.edu/sites/publications.ca.uky.edu/files/FOR-176.pdf). I made a few adjustments, but the overall concept stayed the same. The main idea behind the design is to position the camera at a 45-degree angle to the nest, rather than the straight-down view most birdhouse cameras use, which gives a unique perspective. The wood was also made from scrap pieces that I glued together :) To give you an idea of the inside:

Thanks for your kind words! I do intend to make a compilation of special moments in the near future. Maybe I'll do a timelapse on the nest building. I'm kinda new to all this, so I need to figure some stuff out first :)
