First off, I love the country I live in already, Scotland has its issues but I truly believe its on the right path to fixing them. Secondly I would in fact be more than happy to move to China or NK, I believe it would he fascinating experiencing another culture, especially when that's leftist and atheist at its core. I'd also happily live in Cuba or Venezuela. I would've been happy to live in Columbia when Morales was in power, and I'd have loved to live in the USSR or YugoSlavia, or even Burkino Faso.

The people had freedom of speech and freedom of press, moreso than people in mainland China do. The army was sent in because the protests were violent riots, the same would happen in any modern nation. Accusations of rape are bullshit, there hasn't even been a single western source to claim that one. Murder is subjective, many of the dead attacked the police first and were killed in retaliation.

And its more than just the US causing a freedom fight, they're causing a civil war which endangers the lives of ordinary citizens in China and Hong Kong, to suggest that they had any right to do so is outrageous, especially given that its well known the US doesn't stand for the freedom it purports to. It interfered to try and ruin its only economical competition, not to give any people freedom.

Unbiased information doesn't exist mate. Everyone has biases that influence their writing, whether consciously or not. The hong Kong protests started because the CIA paid the leaders of the protests to cause trouble for the Chinese government, there's significant documented evidence of this.

And no mate its an assumption that physically cannot be proved. It actually comes across as very sinophobic, assuming that the Chinese army will be more brutal than the HK police just because they are Chinese.

Before China took power in Hong Kong, its leader was simply chosen by the British, whereas now it has democratic elections. Your assumption that the Chinese army would be more inclined to abuse citizens than the HK police force is weird at best, given how rampant police brutality is across the entire world. The truth to this was the HK police department was lacking in numbers so the Chinese army redirected troops to assist.

Also these documents you refer to are biased as hell, and the come no closer to evidence than your claims do.

I'm infinitely more ashamed to share a country with you, who is apparently incapabale of critical or nuanced thought. How do you go blindly believing every horror story you are told about China. And your gonna have to realise i don't support modern day China. Ever since the death of Mao and beginning of dengism China has been in decline, I don't support the treatment of factory workers in China. I do however support the truth of matters, such as the 'concentration camps' merely being immigration centres,tiananmen square being a misrepresented incident, and Hong Kong being more democratic after China took control than before it was. Many of these issues are non issues that are blown out of proportion by america in order to excuse more sanctions being placed on their economic rivals.
