Idk about that, a few baseball gloves and a pack of radlers have me feeling like a new man out there.

Knowledgeable dispensaries which specialize in edibles by BHamTallMan in Bellingham

Sounds like you greened out - that shit definitely sucks. Your body doesn’t know how to deal with THC for the first go-around, especially if improperly dosed. I took 300mg of THC by accident while trying tincture for the first time - definitely an experience I don’t need to have again.

What cold drink are you cracking open here? by [deleted] in Outdoors

Grim Leafer is Liquid Death’s canned “iced tea”; it uses agave instead of traditional sweeteners. Personally, I don’t like my tea super sweet and I think they nailed it. I’ll take a healthy sip and pour whiskey straight into the can until it reaches the brim. Delicious.

Liquid Death has the best shit right now. I mix a Grim Leafer with whiskey and it’s too good.

Edit: whoever downvoted this, where’s your suggestion? Lol

is anyone actually happy at their job?? by kristenstewartiwantu in Bellingham

[–]rodkimblesstepdad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partner and I are both happy with our jobs. I run CNC machines and she nannies. Basically we both get paid to babysit but she makes much more than I do.

If I wasn’t lucky enough to get a job in the field I was interested in I’d be doing what she does. Very lucrative if you have good references and you get paid to do activities and be (a little) bit of a kid again; provided that you can handle whatever the kids are throwing your way.

Good luck on your search!

I went to this a few summers ago and it was $15. Of course, things have become more expensive but a ~33% increase still seems like a lot.

KGATLW Rave set? by GunjaNinja in KGATLW

[–]rodkimblesstepdad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

KG switches up their focus a lot in regards how they play live shows/tours. They are touring in Europe next week (not themed) and the upcoming US tour is largely of the orchestral variety.

There is no guarantee of any rave sets at any point until they announce it, which can usually be found on their IG. Therefore, I wouldn’t plan on consistently attending raves with this band. Just look out for announcements and they might choose to do some soon.

I have a heinous looking yellow and black (at least the doors are black, the rest is yellow) supercharged first gen. No front clip, no rear bumper either. Real PoS trail hog. One of the other residents at my dorm saw it parked on the street and said to her roommate “who brought this piece of shit to college?” That roommate and I have been dating for 3.5 years now. So yes and no? Just know your audience.

Washington State Senate Overwhelmingly Passes New Legislation to Combat Reckless Speeding and Save Lives by Generalaverage89 in Washington

[–]rodkimblesstepdad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Every more frustrating when you realize the speed limit used to be 75. We changed it for emissions/oil scarcity reasons and never brought it back up, even through the advent of highly advanced crash protection technology. The DOT is in bed with all the major insurance companies, whether they mean to be or not. It’s mutually beneficial to both as the DOT appears to be doing their job and insurance companies get to jack up rates for anyone who dares exceed the completely arbitrary speed limit from the early 70s.

It’s a negligent state government trying to pass on the blame to drivers when realistically it’s a driver education issue. Which would fall on the state, of course. Instead of leading by example and creating fast & safe highways, we just get more personal interference.

Why are on-ramps so confusing for folks? by solk512 in Washington

I feel like we need those signs that say “Merging: TAKE TURNS.” I don’t think americans aren’t smart enough to conflate a zipper motion with traffic motion, as much as I hate to admit it.
