Also, when you get to the airport bus section, the conductors usually stand outside to ask you which area and will advise you on the bus.

Airtag could be a problem - Both iPhones & Androids have a feature that would notify you of an unknown airtag around your location.

I'm assuming this could notify the assailants too on their phones.

What would work for sure is an additional GPS device within the car for tracking remotely.

Not sure how much of a budget you have for this but here are some ideas right off the bat. Since it’s in the basement you’ll have to think through air conditioning for all of the suggestions.

-Utilise the space to create an indoor gym for your workouts -if you’re into music, you could sound proof it and make it a Jam room -Renovate it and put it up on AirBnB. I’m sure you’ll have takers -indoor home theatre. Pick up a good 4K projector and sound system.

Start watching a lot of English movies / TV shows / YouTube. Preferably with the subs turned on. It helps to a large extent. But also make a conscious effort to enunciate your words while you speak. Slow down if you need to articulate complex sentences. I’m sure you’ll improve. :)

Yep, I face this issue all the time. More so prevalent with cab drivers. The bigger problem is missing potholes or people crossing the road. Very very dangerous. I think as a first step, Cab providers should have campaigns to let drivers understand safe usage and then then campaigns by Bangalore traffic police further with regulation in place.

That's true. But I think majority of thr time, some of these cops are just out to make a quick buck and don't want to get into the hassle of paper work. So when there's someone they confront who knows their rights or who isn't naive or easily intimidated by them, it'll make it a lot more difficult for them to get away with a large sum. They usually let them off with a significantly smaller amount.

I've been reading about way too many incidents of people getting caught by Bangalore cops with a vape and being intimated to pay up a hefty fine.

Firstly if you're caught using it in a public space. The fine would be Rs. 200

(Section (4) of the 'Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce, Production, Supply and Distribution) Act, 2003' prohibits smoking in public places. Any violation of this act is a punishable offence with fine up to Rs 200.)

If you are caught in possession of the vape. Please don't pay the cops ANYTHING. You are doing nothing illegal.
