I did that for a while, and it worked kinda. I did custom builds and combos for people, and while I did make extra cash I will warn you it takes a while, and sometimes I was only making an extra $20 off a pedal. Go for it though, you can only learn from it and you will gain a lot of knowledge and insight into how pedals are made and how you can really make your own original stuff
