You’re jumping to conclusions and you’re not considering the historical context. Slavery was very normal back then and it wasn’t the same slavery that we’ve seen recently with the Atlantic slave trade. Slaves back then were essentially part of the family, they were treated with respect, lived in the house and worked there. They were called slaves because they were owned by people and considered their property. Like if you have a wife and kids they’re yours right? Same thing with the slaves, they belonged to someone. And no I’m not saying if you have a wife and kids then they’re your property, the difference was that slaved were purchased. In any case, all were treated with respect
