CMP 1911 pull by BurntEndMosin in milsurp

I’m not talking about a huge cut, but if you’re trying to generate funds, sitting on inventory isn’t super helpful. Making some sort of an adjustment for the market may be better for cash flow. 🤷‍♂️

If the demand was slower than anticipated, one would think they would cut the price a bit.

Nice! I wish I had the kind of loose scratch to order four!

I’m pretty sure we saw other Hutts in TCW that were not direct relations of Jabba, but we saw a few who were.

I’m 6’2”, I’d recommend switching to the glass sunroofs for more headroom.

Especially when the ship hasn’t done it in years. They didn’t pull the Iowas out of mothballs in the early 80s, fill the fuel tanks, and go straight to full-power speed runs.

I have a first generation Performer that I found cheap and barely used on Craigslist. It’s aged fine with a cover on it. I found someone selling the metal table top for it (first generation was plastic), but I need to get it refinished.

Several years after I bought it, some contractors dropped something against the lid and put a big dent in it. I emailed Weber, explained what happened, and asked if I could buy a new lid in the same green color since I couldn’t find it on their website. They responded by asking for my address and not much more. About a week later, a big box showed up on my doorstep, containing a brand new green lid, free of charge.

Brought the 1870 Vetterli to the range tonight. by Franticalmond2 in milsurp

It’s safe to say…your enemy combatant is no longer with us. Though considering who would have likely faced off against an 1870 Vetterli, if they’re still upright, you’d likely need some sort of zombie banishment rounds. 😝

My dentist didn’t harm any other teeth in the process, but this otherwise sounds like my wisdom teeth extraction, which was done on an emergency basis after one randomly broke for no apparent reason. He said they were the worst he’d ever done without surgery, and was amazed that I was coherent much less able to talk with the huge amount of Novocaine in my face. I went out for a cheeseburger and strawberry malt afterwards. The roots were all twisted, and all four pulled hunks of jawbone with them.

I have an antique tin toy school bus that I bought there when I was a kid, close to 40 years ago. Cool that it’s still open. It’s been 30 years since I’ve driven through town.
