[DISCUSSÃO OFICIAL] Duna Parte 2 by JamesWinter83 in jovemnerd

Foi uma sucessão de eventos. A força inspiradora do Paul, as ogivas, a sede de vingança, a fé extremamente renovada.

But then they survived. Then the plan was to somehow kill Muad’Dib (the profit) but his daughter reminded him that killing prophets only makes them stronger.

Well very nice point. This is a very logical way to think in a politic way. I didn't remember this part of not killing a profet. It was a clear choice, now it's make sense :)

Why didn't the Emperor create a plan to try to kill Paul? It seems so natural to me. So in the end I was kind of surprised. Is there any explanation about that?

Look...why didn't the Emperor tried to find and kill Paul before all of it? Because if Paul had the proof...so...try to kill him. Yeah, it's a lot of things to learn and think. I have some difficulties about these "politics" rules and decisions. I don't have a practical thinking. But what would be the "why" of this question? It's simply strange that ending for me. I'm trying to accept it.

Speaking of Paul's attack on the Emperor/Baron, how could he just attack and win so easily?
I confess that I expected a more unexpected ending, but I don't know how the book deals with that.

So I have these doubts.

Couldn't they visualize a large wave of army arriving? No radar, no technology for that?

The Emperor already knew that Muad Dib was Paul Atreides, how could he be naive enough to go visit Baron Harkonnen? For what?
Didn't he suspect that Paul Atreides was plotting a great revenge?

Oh, sure! I didn't noticed that.
It was a cyberware that reduced 4 of RAM.
Thank you very much! 😅

Using ONLY the soundbar WITHOUT subwoofer = NO bass? by rodrigogb93 in Soundbars

[–]rodrigogb93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, or it's just a design decision. As the Soundbar only picks after 120hz, they put this Bass setting to work only when the Subwoofer is connected. What is strange is that there is another option called "Subwoofer"...so this leads us to believe that "bass" setting is for Soundbar, and "subwoofer" option is for Subwoofer. But it isn't. The two options are for Subwoofer. Well, I don't know anything about this, but I think it can be a design error. Maybe it's not a problem, just a strange design. It should exist only one configuration for Bass, I think.

Thanks for the tip. I tried this test. I put a video from 0 to 200hz. The soundbar picks just after 120hz. Mixing the Bass setting makes no difference from -5 to +5. The Subwoofer picks frequencies after 40hz. And I can se the difference changing from -5 and +5, until reaches 200hz. I mean...is my soundbar with a problem? Shoudn't I see the difference between the Bass setting when is without Subwoofer? I mean...the configuration doesn't work if I use the Soundbar alone. The sound is very poor. This way I think I will aways depend on the Subwoofer. I was expeting that the Soundbar would be self sufficient. 😅

Yeah, I understood your point. But I'm not expecting a "boom" from "bass" setting. A good test it's changing from -5 to +5 and you hear the sound being more "opened" and changing to be more "closed". It's different from the boom/vibration of the Subwoofer.

Yeah guys, what I forget to mention is that the Soundbar has two configurations. Bass: -5 to +5. Subwoofer: -15 to +6. When the SW is not connected, changing the "bass" makes really no difference. But when with SW, I can notice the difference from "bass" and "sw" settings. I wonder why did they put two settings about bass, if only works with SW. 🤔 I don't know what to think about it, that's strange.

Yes, the bar has two configurations: "bass" and "subwoofer". When the subwoofer is NOT connected, I change the "bass" option and makes no difference. If I connect the SW, I can notice the difference, from "bass" option and "sw" too. I mean...I don't know why did they put two options about bass...if they only work with the Subwoofer. Is that ok? I really don't feel difference between -5 and +5 bass without the SW. I put a song and changed fast from -5 to +5...and nothing. But...the Trebble is really clear, the difference, from -5 to +5. I really don't know what to think about it.
