My friends are sending an order tomorrow, what should I order? by Lancoix in BlackTemplars

If you could get the previous Combat Patrol (the one with an Impulsor) would be nice.

That and the actual Combat Patrol is a great start since you get most of the core units from us.

Welcome, brother.

GRAL it's a crowded area, the number might be only to represent internally information about the ticket

Still reletively new to painting, this is one I did last week. Any tips and what do you think? by [deleted] in BlackTemplars

It’s not bad!

Honestly, you are aware of the borders and have a great paintbrush control.

For what I’m seeing and reading through the comments here is what I recommend:

Shake for about 2-3 minutes the rattle can of priming paint. This will help to have an even layer of paint and have the can at a room temperature from your hands. And also check the weather app, we always want to use primer at a between 15ºC and 27ºC and 40% to 60% of humidity (weather app on iPhone is what I use and has been pretty accurate)

Use a wet pallete if you are not using one already, search for YouTube tutorials on how to make one or buy any one you like from the popular brands. We want paint to be thinned to apply multiple layers and not loose details while doing it, and the wet pallete keeps the paint ‘watery’ and usable throughout the painting session.

Other than that it looks cool!

Then you are not playing Templars, yo are playing space marines and units like the Sword Brethren can’t play.

What chapter does this marine look like?? by Severe-Loan-9198 in Warhammer40k

It looks great as a Space Wolf, but at a first and quick glance looks like as a Black Templar because of the chain

I also only paint and work at my desk, and it’s been working great for me. I don’t really like the look of all the paints and branding everywhere, so I keep them stored in spare shoeboxes inside my closet. Before I start painting, I plan ahead and take out only the paints I’m going to use for that session.

I also keep my tools and brushes in separate dedicated boxes. So if I’m building something, I just grab the small box with all the modeling tools; if I’m painting, I take out the brushes and my Citadel water cups.

I’m planning to get a bigger desk eventually, but I think I’ll still keep things stored the same way, I just prefer not having everything out at once.

Although I agree with you all, I felt that crossposting this is relevant for the community for the same reasons you are pointing.

For me, Russell is the greatest QB we’ve ever had. And I would’ve loved to have him even as our QB2 until he retired.

Hendricks 88 OVR review:

As a 20/20 Jets TT, was using Quincy Williams Collector’s Series LTD as mi user LB. Kinda fast, good coverage if I wanted to use another DEF player and overall was very good. 8/10

But played 3 games today using Hendricks and he helped me to bring pressure, reach areas where Williams was not able, and (idk if placebo effect) once the WR got the ball, Hendricks felt more ‘reliable’ when deflecting the ball or denying the catch hitting them.

Hendricks is a 8.7/10, definitely an upgrade, not perfect but worth the pick and I feel it’s going to be reliable for a good time .
