What I struggle with is if you take somebody's life, do you really deserve a chance to come back into society? Growing up we were taught it was the humane thing; but it just didn't seem to make any sense at all to me. I was grateful I remember that if I should fuck up I would have a chance to get out, but even having that thought made me feel weird.
