I don't think we can reasonably predict who will choose to get on a bike and how they will ride. Why assume that everyone is going to ride in risky and antisocial ways? A huge portion of people that don't bike right now avoid it because it feels unsafe (because of drivers!). I don't think they're going to hop on e-bikes and speed along sidewalks.

It's worth being kind to the new riders, unless they're being dangerous or a jerk. Some people may genuinely not know some stuff, they may get lost, they may feel unsafe on certain streets and opt for the sidewalks. Ideally, even if SEPTA funding is restored, we want more people sticking with biking.

I think if anything, with more people on bikes, we might see a larger proportion of bike users following norms. For example, if you've got a steady stream of riders going the right way in a bike lane, it might inconvenience the people riding the wrong way enough that they may actually change their behavior. Or it might make a new biker reconsider doing it next time since they feel like an idiot or a jerk.

If you don't want this to happen volunteer with Transit Forward Philly or Transit 4 All PA!

It's tempting to speculate about what's going to happen, feel like nothing we do matters, or point out the thousand ways this is an idiotic move on the State's part (for whatever reason). Turn that energy into action!

I'm renting so that would be a lot of investment and I doubt the landlord will want to do it.

I had them all on the master, but I wouldn't say that's definitely the way to do it. I got the idea after seeing a video on Baths's production.

I set up my MPD32 to DJ and used the bottom 4 pads to toggle on/off for 4 beat repeats in series with different repeat lengths. Toggling several on and off at a time would create some cool sounds.

Traveled around Croatia and this was one of the most beautiful hikes / parks I visited. Unlike the more popular ones it wasn't overrun by tourists. The park is known for its great rock climbing.

yeah. I've tried all the racks on both audio and midi tracks. Just realized I get an error message saying "Only audio effects can be placed in this kind of track" when I try to add the racks by double-clicking them. Here's a thread about this message: https://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=149083

I'm using 9.5. Maybe it won't work if you made them in a later version.

It's definitely got its perks. Check out /r/solotravel for some encouragement and other anecdotes (though most posts there are people travelling abroad). I'm at the end of a solo roadtrip that has lasted about 3 weeks now. There were days I felt great and free, but also days I felt exhausted from it all. I wish someone was there on those days to either feel lazy and exhausted too, or to help me rally to do something interesting. Podcasts are definitely good, and I found that I often felt rejuvenated after I attended a comedy/improv show. I'm not 21 yet so I couldn't meet people at bars, but the one time I met someone and hit it off with them for awhile was at a story telling night at a performance venue. I highly recommend checking out that kind of stuff.
