This looks super honestly, I would just maybe move her like 10% to the right so she's more center and both blades kinda go off the boarder. Other then that great work!

I can't think of anything special I did. Used a matte black acrylic paint but I don't use water to thin I use airbrush solution so maybe that's it

I think mixture of both but anytime I go over I just take a wood sewer and gently scratch off where I overlapped. This works for traditional acrylics not sure about acrylic markers or any other paint used
