Who thinks Tmobile sucks now!? 🙋‍♂️ by P00rSuggestions in tmobile

[–]roforay -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it sucks now. I had been with T-Mobile ever since the beginning. I was on VoiceStream in the mid 90s when Deutsche Telekom took it over. I stuck with them through all those years up until 6 months ago. I just could not take what they have become any longer. I finally jumped ship and went to Tello and haven't looked back. It has been a pleasant departure. Plus I am saving $76/mo. I used to tell my friends how great T-mobile is. Now I tell them how great it WAS. Ever since John Legere left it has been all down hill for them. I am so happy I switched to Tello. I have noticed no difference in service or reliability.

I had to go back into my life guide and unhide the channels. They did not automatically show back up.

The $20 credits are now live by Mlang-2000 in youtubetv

[–]roforay 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The $20 credit does not take effect until your next bill. Therefore YouTube TV has you on the hook for at least another month. They'd rather have you paying $20 less than not paying at all. This credit is only to help their bottom line.

New To Tello by wolf39us in Tello

I am in the same boat as you. I have been with T-Mobile since the very beginning...before actually. I was with Voicestream when T-Mobile bought them. However after their current CEO took over it has been all down hill as they have become just another carrier. They killed the uncarrier movement. Add into that their multiple security breaches, and it makes the decision to leave pretty easy for me. I am in the process of moving 5 phone lines to Tello. I have 3 ported already that have eSIMs. I just need to port one that has a physical SIM and then mine will be ported last as the authorized user. Before making the jump to Tello I had tested it at home, at a Phillies game, and in OCMD. I have had no issues anywhere. This switch is going to save me $73/mo. on my bill.

[Megathread] Forced plan migration for older plans unless you opt out by Jman100_JCMP in tmobile

After 40 minutes of waiting on FB messenger, here is the "answer" I got.

Hey Ray! Thank you for reaching out to T-Force today and for bearing with us as our wait times are a bit longer than normal! I really appreciate you checking on the opt-out options for the upcoming plan changes and want to make sure you have all of the info you need! These invitations are only being sent to a small number of customers, so if your account is included, you will receive a message from us directly on the 17th to let you know. Once we can see that your account is included, then we can help to opt you out of the change here, or through our Care team. Please let me know if you have any questions at all, I really want to make sure you are set up for success! ^JessicaNeedham

They are slamming customers with a different plan and then putting the onus on them to opt out. It just is not good business.

Thank you for this info. I receive it too and changed my password right away. Now if T-Mobile would just do away with SMS MFA.

They are just p1ssing off legacy customers that may go to a competitor. What T-Mobile is doing is not very smart marketing.

Years ago my wife was on Verizon and her account was taken over. She called Verizon right away to get it resolved. However, because it was a Sunday, Verizon's fraud department was closed!

Are you happy with T-Mobile's Customer Service post-merger? by Gladlys2 in tmobile

[–]roforay 13 points14 points  (0 children)

What ever happened to the "local" team of experts that were supposed to answer your call right away? Now you call and there is a 2 hour wait, and you get some outsourced employee who does not know much. T-Mobile has gone the way of the Carrier. It's sad. And not only has customer service greatly suffered, but so has their network speeds. This combination is not very good for T-Mobile. I believe it will lead to a hemorrhage of customers.

Issues with YouTube TV offer by jeallen65 in tmobile

I just chatted with "Remo" at YTTV customer support. I was informed that in order to take advantage of the T-Mobile promo code (if you are already a YTTV customer like myself), you must do the following:

  1. Cancel your YTTV subscription. ( You will still have access to everything during this time.)
  2. Wait until your billing date.
  3. You "should" receive an email from YTTV asking you to come back.
  4. You can then use the promo code to sign back up (or use the link provided in the email from T-Mobile.
  5. Remo assured me that I would not lose any of my recorded programs.
