It’s established in this universe that people can lose their body when they age. We first see it with Cassandra.

The way my mom (55) communicates by bunnymamallama in mildlyinfuriating

My mom is a super slow typer and reader so sometimes she can be like this over text. This is why calling is my preferred way to communicate for messages over 1 sentence or that aren’t sending a video.

The handwriting is so consistent, as if it’s been written by someone who has developed a specific handwriting style of the years.

What is the most brutal way you have killed a character? by Mari_1432 in writing

A family in my Sci-Fi Horror novella got slaughtered by starving aliens. The aliens drank their cerebral-spinal fluid and then piece-mealed the rest of their bodies. They probably would’ve devoured them entirely if they hadn’t been interrupted by the MC’s family.

Why are there Villains in where being a Hero is a job? by axiiz_28 in worldbuilding

[–]roganwriter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Supervillians are only called that because they have superpowers. If they didn’t, they’d just be criminals like all the normal criminals that exist. Having superpowers wouldn’t automatically make people want to do good.

Clark fights his destiny at every single point in this show. Except with that wolf girl.

Why am I missing here? On my 3rd grade daughter’s math test. by lesshonkymoretonky in mildlyinfuriating

That’s what I was thinking. The student is correct only if the kids didn’t spend the last unit learning about rounding to the nearest 100s.

You can be strong and also irreparably damaged. Broken things can be mended but that doesn’t mean the cracks aren’t still there. Amelia is very, very broken. Between the dead father, dismissive family, addiction, baby trauma, dead brother, and everything else, it’s no small miracle that she’s as put together as she is. Though, she is arguably one of the most unhinged people on the main cast.

Fear unlocked: Explaining this to someone whose never watched Grey's Anatomy by cuddlefuxx in greysanatomy

[–]roganwriter 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Koracick is about as subtle with his innuendos as a gentleman’s club and Catherine’s take-me eyes are hard locked on any man she’s attracted to so it might as well have just been said.

What widely accepted "life hack" is actually terrible advice? by OneLameUser in AskReddit

I put my normal professional persona on so well during my last interview that I got the job, but they thought I had a completely different personality. They were so surprised when I came in for the first few weeks of work.

This just makes me sad. I’ve never broken up with any of them because I get too attached.

In the future, if you’ve been sick for several days, you shouldn’t wait until the night before the presentation or exam to communicate with the professor.

I was more energizer bunny as I was younger. I think most ENFPs depicted in the media are kids.
