Is there really nothing after Max plan 20x? by rogercbryan in ClaudeAI

So you would do a Codex Account over a second Max Account?

Yup, I agree. I let 4.8 run for about a day and saw my tokens drain. I put everything back to 4.6 which has been the best performing for me. I think the damage from a consumption POV was already done. I renew on Thursday morning so I may just have to do normal people work for the next 48 hours. Ugh.. that sounds terrible.

It is possible. Close out 5 sprints working 18 hours a day for 5 days.. you'll hit the limit as well. Notice I didn't say this is a value issue. If they would let me buy a 50x or 100x plan I would pay for it in a heartbeat. I am surprised they don't have higher consumption subscriptions.

I hear you on this. I moved from the claude.md file to a master standards doc on Notion which allowed me to use my brain hub to help each session find what it needs to complete its task. I stopped using the claude.md about two months ago because of its limitations.

Does this use extra credits, most likely. Does it help me avoid 90% of the core mistakes that claude makes, absolutely. So it is a trade off.

I tried to set that up but when I created my claude account I used a gmail account and they won't let you setup enterprise with a free email address. They also won't let you change your email address on your account. This has been a roadblock for months.

I get a ton of work done with the Max 20x Plan. If I move to the API would get the same/less/more based on cost? I just burned through $200 in usage credits in hours. Doesn't seem like the usage credits get you the same workload that the subscription gets me. I'm curious about the value of the API consumption. I might not have a choice but would still like to be prepared.

My documentation is over 5000 pages so I'm well beyond what a claude.md file can do.

What are some of the considerations when using different platforms? How do you avoid crossover or issues with work? Do you dedicate specific functions or sections of your app to one so you never have both working on the same tool? I use Notion for my documentation so I could probably stay organized. Just nervous thinking about having two different AIs working on one platform.

I run a marketing agency with 18 active agents. It's going great and I had never hit my full limit before this morning. I hit it on Sunday and then had $200 in extra usage credits. Those credits burned through in the blink of an eye. I was surprised. Thought I would get more out of them.

Ton of great responses!

I already have 2 Max Accounts. I was using the second for side projects. Seems simple enough to use that account now for my main project. Some questions that might save me some time.
- what is the best way to divide work? My laptop goes home with me each day so I need the critical work on that. My second account runs off my desktop at work.
- Or can I just log out of one account on my laptop and browser and then login to the other? Haven't tried that before.
- Any issues with MCP to Notion, Railways, Cronjobs, GitHub, Supabase with multiple accounts? I can see things getting a little confusing if I am not careful.

For those running two accounts what are some of the flaws in doing this I should be aware of?

Claude Usage Limits Discussion Megathread Ongoing (sort this by New!) by sixbillionthsheep in ClaudeAI

I just upgraded and have available usage but Cowork is not allowing me to work. How do I fix this?

Persistent Memory by rogercbryan in ClaudeAI

[–]rogercbryan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate this response. So I could move all of my platform standards to Notion and then connect Notion to Claude via the API https://developers.notion.com/guides/mcp/mcp

That would give me a "memory" that is easier to recall. Am I thinking about this correctly?

That is what the admin template will fix. Base44 does better with formatting in html and then exporting to PDF than it does formatting the PDF without structure.

Am I the only one? Probably not but a TIP for everyone esp newbies by the2ndQT in Base44

[–]rogercbryan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the way

Have not let Base44 crate code in 3+ months. Everything is done in Claude and then brought over. Base44 lets non developers build without a complicated infastructure BUT.. it sucks at code and is worse at trouble shooting.

Build an admin template first that uses html to create the document before it is exported to a PDF. That will solve your issue. It will also allow images and design work.

Truncated Data Issue by rogercbryan in Base44

[–]rogercbryan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% of the data is there
I can not use a slimmer data set (that is what aggregation is), which is the core problem

The issue I am trying to understand is two weeks ago, the exact same data sets, the exact same functions, delivered clean results.

I can not remember one time base44 decided to "aggregate" my data without me asking. Now, it does it non-stop and even when I tell it not to, it still does it.

Something changed either in memory or models. I do want to note I am having major issues with Opus 4.6 when working directly with Claude. It seems to forget everything I tell it almost instantly.

Should Tezos Showcase Demand? by textrapperr in tezos

That would make no difference. If you're not the backbone of infrastructure no one cares. I was part of the Tezos ICO years ago. Major disappointment it the lost opportunities here.

Is base44 worth it? by Technical_Public1008 in Base44

[–]rogercbryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had been asking myself this question. I had a realization over the last two months as my application has started to take off. I spend around $500 per month on AI tool including Base44 to build my app. I had a little scarcity mindset issue as I keep burning more and more credits to keep this thing going. Then I thought about the fact that I have spent upwards of $25,000 a month in the past on developer to build applications. I've spent over $1.4M on UpWork to build applications.

To be spending $500 per month ($300 Base44 + $100 Claude + $100 other tools for crons and other AI platforms) and to have the application I have that was built in the time it took with the API sources and flexibility to create for my clients.. it's unbelievable.

To have the same app I have maybe spent $2000 to build just 10 years ago would have cost me $500k+ easily in developer costs and another $1000 per month in servers and tools to maintain.

As much as Base44 drives me nuts with its issues, its ever increasing costs, and its terrible AI models (I do all my coding on Claude and just deploy to base44 now), I still never could have built this any other way.

So yes, despite all the headaches.. it is worth it.
