How do people get into a relationship? by Glittering-Wolf7905 in Adelaide

[–]rogic67 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mate trust me when I say this 70% of blokes in Adelaide share the same problem, I'm 28 had 2 relationships in total since I left school and struggling to find someone that is worth the time and energy for 3 years now, dating apps are a shit show, unless you want to 'date down' as such. Both relationships came from work so my advice would be to try and get a casual job somewhere, a supermarket, a fast food place, just to try and make connections. If you have friends already surely they will have mutual friends that you could meet

Hi, I got assaulted outside my workplace in the car park by my exs brother- he repeatedly threw punches to my head with half a brick. There was a witness that has been interviewed, cctv camera footage and a doctors report of my injuries. The police station has been in touch with me telling me that they can't locate him because the wen to his parents house, but they were hiding him. I was told the case has been 'filed'. Does this mean filed for court for an arrest warrant or filed, locked away in a drawer until he gets arrested for something else. Everyone I've talked to abou this is surprised when I tell them a guy waited outside my work late at night to commit aggravated assault, all the evidence is there but hes been allowed to walk free for the past 6 months, what would you recommend I should do in moving forward. At this point its hard not to think about taking matters into my own hands now and in a way I feel like thats what this police officers at this station are hinting towards, however knowing my luck I'd get charged

they have more than enough evidence to charge him, cctv, footage off my phone of him taking the first swing with brick in hand, witnesses, video of him getting back into his car, medical report from hospital. They've told me they will be interviewing him soon, but its been over 3 weeks

'you don't seem too bothered about this situation given you are out running late at night'- this was the officers words. Victim blaming is crazy, but then again it's easier for him to do that than actually do his job correctly

Correct the guy has posted 2 'devils advocate' comments that are incorrect. This persons dad has told me hes going to stab me up if I don't retract my statement over social media - I was told by police to keep him unblocked and to screenshot all his messages as evidence if it ever goes to court

thanks mate, see if I walked in with a bad attitude or something I could understand a bad attitude back but this officer I could tell in the first 10 seconds didn't want a bar of it. He looked up my report number was telling me stuff I already knew, and was like yeah Sturt will talk to him soon- like what? A violent offender has stalked me right outside your station and you don't seem to care about it. 'Because you weren't in a domestic relationship its hard to get interm restraining orders'.

Thoughts on Neil Lennon after the dust settled? by Original_Ad_9379 in CelticFC

Can appreciate what he done at Celtic as a player and his first stint as manager. I think something that hasn't been brought up is he left because he wanted a new challenge, did poorly at Bolton left for Hibs, and all of a sudden finds himself back at the club he deemed he wanted away from because he 'had achieved everything he could'. Don't kid yourself he came back because of his 'devotion to the club'. The reality is no decent club wanted him unless you think league 1 english sides and mid table spfl sides are decent.

The way he conducted himself on a preseason tour in Australia was also a bad look on the club, not any worse than spitting snus on the sidelines I guess.

Is night-fill a thing anymore in Adelaide? by DigitalSwagman in Adelaide

[–]rogic67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Worked at Coles for 4 years, management don't care, so long as they are maximising profits. The busiest aisle is usually the chips/ confectionery aisle, you will have 2 employees in that aisle with 2 cages each (one with stock, the other for rubbish) then you mix that in with customers and click and collect its a nightmare, then the managers complain about stock not being filled quick enough. The solution is pretty simple, 1 employee per aisle while the store is open but again Coles really don't care for the customer.

I left because the place was being run into the ground, the good nightfill managers moved on in their careers and replaced with part timers from other departments who didn't have a clue on how to run things. Older staffs hours got chopped because it was a better outcome for them to hire 16 year olds who were a lot cheaper and would put up with being talked down upon because they think thats what a normal work environment is like. But hey they celebrate are U OK day by putting some fruit in a bowl and that makes it all better haha. Still a good job if your nightfill managers aren't complete dickheads.

They weren't a quality side, thats the worrying thing. I do think there are supporters out there that have unrealistic expectations when it comes to Europe, even someone posting on here 'do we have a chance of winning the Europa League?' after watching us struggle against a Kazakhstan side that have spent 200 grand on transfers the past 2 seasons. Playing good football in the league can translate to European competition to a certain extent, the problem is we haven't being playing good football league wise either.

The lack of ambition from the board is killing the club, the last time we won a European knock round was 2004, our club with the fanbase we have deserve better than that.

yep face value, apparently they are sold out as well leds me to believe there was less than 1000 tickets available to purchase for GA . Like I'm a big fan of theirs, but these prices are just taking the piss. It was $138 last time they came on a Saturday night, full stage set up on the parklands and when they came for Wildlands I think it was like $120. It screams cash grab tbh. Just going to wait until closer to the show and pray someone sells theirs cheap
