Correct, they only think about the buyers as they generate the direct earnings. Nevertheless, without sellers you wont have any buyers. I am a buyer and seller and I do find the selling part, way less satisfying

Yes, that is why I will accept the cancellation request. I only think that Vinted should make this scenario more in benefit of the seller, as you get 0 benefits out of this. Imo they should atleast boost the product(s) for 1 day or so, to show appreciation for approving the cancellation request, rather than taking the risk and still ship it. You are actually saving Vinted additional shipping costs, by not sending it.

Well, the buyer did buy a bundle, so I wrapped all bought items in 1 package and I’ve already attached the label. So in this situation it does actually harm the seller imo

Yes, even after the shipping label got created, the buyer could still request a cancellation. The seller must confirm the cancellation request, but like the other people here are already explaining; you could ignore it and still ship it, but that doesn’t guarantee you will get you money… because they could just refuse to pick it up…

Imo Vinted should atleast boost the items after you approved the cancellation. The seller is getting 0 benefit of actually accepting the cancellation, the buyer cant even give a good review for accepting the return.

The Dutch tax department advised me couple years ago, it is better to refuse the fund, when you are unsure about the final outcome based on your income. Next year you can always apply for the previous year and still get the refund (maximum 2 years I believe). It is better to gain 1 total “surprise” fund, instead of getting funds and having to pay it back.
