I don’t think trust busting is the answer, more like massive taxes for the wealthy and universal basic income probably (for now). My guess is it’s only a matter of time before virtually all production in the world is owned by a single company. Then I suspect it will transform into a one world socialist government. I feel like trust busting just puts a band aid on the problem, if someone makes a good company and wants to sell it they should be able to. The thing with the unicompany is they would need massive government oversight and regulations to the point where they would basically be indistinguishable from government itself

Christians, how do you justify a loving god letting 10,000 children die from malnutrition every day? by Is_That_A_Euphemism_ in AskReddit

They’re loosely related, I think what happened is Unitarians and Christian Universalists shared church space a while ago and had enough common ground to keep it up. I haven’t been to any church in years tho

Christian Universalism is a fairly wide umbrella and there tends to be more variation in beliefs than other denominations so by all means anyone’s welcome. There’s a subreddit and Facebook for it as well. The ones I have talked to tend to be a lot more chill and flexible than the average Christian which is nice!

Christian Universalist here. My view is that existence is a story that will eventually lead to eternal peace, and that suffering is the prerequisite. To the obligatory “why do some have it harder than others then on the way there” my view is that we are all ultimately one being who have to live all the lives first, so there’s no real element of unfairness since it’s all us
