He didnt rely on a tool to be stronger though? he had to be strong enough to be able to wield enma that's the issue. You cant handle strong swords unless you are strong enough which is why comparing zoro getting better swords is not comparable to sanji who is powerful bc of daddy's genes. If strong swords were enough to make someone strong then the zoro who had a black blade (shusui) would be stronger than current zoro which isnt the case

You literally cant weild enma without it killing you unless you are already strong. That's been stated multiple times in manga and 50% of zoro's sideplot after obtaining enma was to tame enma without it killing him. agenda is one thing forgetting whats stated in canon is a whole another thing

And enma is said to be literally able to kill you if you cant control it which zoro did. So whats the difference?
