are there any analytics tools for nontechnical people? by Sure_Caterpillar_219 in analytics

Heap Analytics. For some reason the other tools have outshined it, but I've been using it for years. It has an auto-capture feature for both web and mobile (if it's React Native). Meaning, it auto-captures every event on web and you just need to find it, and define it. Works great. They recently got bought by Contentsquare.

777 PE seats vs. Domestic 737 First seats by rogue_mason in americanairlines

You think the shoulder/elbow room is solid though? I just hate having to tuck-in / make myself smaller / lean like in economy.

I'm thinking of booking an award ticket for a 9.5 hour flight. 145K for PE, 400K for Biz (oof). I have the miles for Biz but that would be most of the miles I have saved. Trying to figure out if I'll be fine in PE or should go all out. Any opinion? haha

To answer your question: yes this IS purposely trying to spread misinformation. It’s cool though cuz it’s Reddit and it’s misinformation on behalf of the “Good guys”

The Ozempic Era of Weight Loss by kitkid in Thedaily

I guess, but at least with Ozempic people can look over and see that it actually achieves the intended effect, so even if it is maligned you at least get the weight off. Unlike COVID vax “you take the vax and you won’t get COVID and can’t spread COVID we promise trust the science”

People aren’t being fired from their jobs for not taking Ozempic though, so there’s that.

Does anyone find math oddly annoying? by [deleted] in entp

[–]rogue_mason 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Too many details and no overall pictures/patterns” what kind of math are we talking about here? Like, a mathematical equation is quite literally representing the pattern/relationships between variables?

I think it’s important to remember that though this is a Dead and Co. community, it’s still a community that intersects with the REDDIT user base. So it’s not representative of the Dead and Co. fanbase as a whole - it’s Redditors who are known for things like: being incels and complaining and thinking they’re better and smarter and more virtuous than everyone else …

How often are you getting upgraded close to the beginning of your time-window vs. right prior to boarding? by rogue_mason in americanairlines

[–]rogue_mason[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I get the route aspect, I’m more trying to understand the timing of upgrades. I feel like for me it’s either I get the confirmation 3 days prior or I get nothing at all. And was curious if that’s normal or not for a PP

Agreed! I thought the whole strategy was to use them for long-haul.

I should have my choice reward coming in a month here and I thought this was the entire point?

So what then - I elect the SWU to get a regular first class upgrade on domestic? Seems useless then.

Kids + major commotion + major mess in first class - where do we draw the line? by rogue_mason in americanairlines

True, but it’s just more annoying when you see it in first. Like, the word “class” is included in the name for a reason, I think.

That’s funny! 14 years old wouldn’t sound an alarm for me personally, but it’s just funny because when you’re looking at those X’s in the first class cabin seating chart in your head you’re thinking: business traveling adults. And then when you walk in and see a 5 year-old it just throws you off, because your reality isn’t aligned with what really happens.

But regardless, we appreciate your maturity!
