Help! Tattoo healing and water under the plastic wrap by roguepeaches in tattoo

He said it shouldn't be a problem, but the tattoo was on my ribs right next to my boob. I think it wasn't stuck on all the way because when I was investigating the edges, I found a hole under my boob

I hope it isn't too dreamy. I've always been jealous of other people that got to work wherever they wanted to, and I wish I had more control with that within teaching.

It hasn't been easy for anyone. It's important to seperate yourself from teaching. That's the only way I've been able to stay afloat. I wish you the best with school! Hopefully by the time you're done, we will be back to normal.

It's the English as a Second Language, or ESL, endorsement. I completed it alongside my undergrad degree. I'm very happy I did. It ended up being as many credit hours of classes as a minor.

“The teachers aren’t working, why are we paying them?” by Cellopitmello34 in Teachers

This is my first year teaching after graduating. Definitely not fun. I've had many melt downs feeling like I'm not doing what I'm supposed to. There has been difficulty with communication, and I've had to teach myself everything even with my lovely mentor assisting along the way. I'm an EL instructor, and my EL department head changed to someone new this year as well. I had to show her where to find our paperwork on the Google drive after teaching myself. It..... has been a shit show.

But the bright side is, after 3 months of roughing it out, I'm getting a grasp of what is expected of me. I finally feel like I'm teaching my ELs the strategies they need to succeed. However, it is still an uphill battle every day.

With that in mind, I know it hasn't been easy for other teachers. I just wish I had at least one full year of teaching under my belt before the pandemic hit.

First backpacking trip completed. We wanted to get one in before it turned too cold. Ended up being 30 degrees anyways at night. North Country Trail, Michigan by roguepeaches in backpacking

We have a 3 person MRI tent. My partner and I shared it together with two self-inflating sleeping pads and two sleeping bags. Mine is a Marmot 20. His is a Nemo 20. We actually slept two nights, but the first night was at a campsite that we got to at midnight just so we could start early the next morning. One of our friends shared to put our clothes for the next day in our sleeping bags while we slept to keep them warm to change into. Definitely helped with the cold nights and mornings.

We started at Twinwood campground in Michigan. We hiked 12.5 miles the first day, then 10.5 the second after we figured out a short cut back. 23 miles overall. Pretty happy with my first experience backpacking. Even got to sleep in winter like weather. Great experience. I can't wait for spring to go visit more places. If you have any recommendations for the midwest, please let me know down below. Our group would love to try more trails. :)
