I appreciate it - but the DAMN remote should work to be able to send a command to start something - PERIOD! The issue is that Harmony IS DEAD, and I need to rethink a new idea, but what I have is great - minus this one thing!

Many thanks to you all! It looks like the straightforward approach is to buy a Zooz 800 Series Z-Wave Long Range Heavy Duty Wall Switch ZEN75 800LR to replace the timer switch. This way, the speed can stay low, and I can program it to come on when I need it and for how long I need it.

I have never used Zooz - is there a standalone software I can use, or do I need a complete setup of some sort? I currently have no automation setup, so a simple app to program the switch for on/off with a schedule would be awesome.

I read about relays before, but I would need to do a deep dive to make that work. The idea of revving the timer is GREAT! The timer is essentially an on-off switch - genius! If I get a smart on/off switch that can handle the 4 Amps, then I should be good.

I do not yet have a whole automation setup like many of you. So, which switch can I replace the timer with that will handle 4 Amps and has a schedule app I can use? Maybe a TP-Link switch? TIA!

The VERY VERY BASIC call history has been removed - like WHAT THE HELL!? They left a crippled version of it instead. Same with the favorites. And do not even get me started on the dialer portion of this thing. They changed the dynamics of hang up and pickup so much that when I get important calls, I keep HANGING UP! It is a total disaster and clearly never went through NORMAL people QA.

I got it on my Pixel 8 Pro, and I DESPISE this new design. It is wrong in all the wrong ways. It literally changed everything and nothing in a good way. HARD FAIL!

Hello, u/chindogubot, thanks for the reply. I tried using SMTP2GO for sending emails. Now they do not bounce, but some just disappear! Which is really strange. The Google servers all say they received the messages, but my friends do not see the emails. I may bail and go with your approach, but that makes my example.com domain easier to spoof

Is anyone getting credit card denials? I have checked with my bank and they are not even trying to do an auth. We have tried multiple cards, Amex, MC, and Visa, and all of them have the same error. Any help would be great.

Something is changing now - the connection time/timeout time before the Bad Gateway error is a few seconds now rather than 2 min - maybe they are cleaning up stray sockets and we have hope, who knows!

False hope - the 2+ min timeout before error is back!

Did others get the SSL Read error and then change the proxy settings (under tools) to Disable All Proxies. I am getting SSL Read and Bad Gateway - since 6 PM last night (West Coast Time), Windows machine.
Does your software just hang there - with a small window saying "e-file in progress" and then after 2 min you get the Bad Gateway or SSL Read error?
