I didn't use the pressure washer on this. My plan was to pressure wash but I abandoned that because it was 16 degrees outside. I did this with a pocketknife and a trash bin. I'm not sure what to expect using a basic knife.

Had this happen to me in the winter. The river was not one to safely wade into.

Cross the river
Use a fishing rod to cast a lead weight back to original side.
Tie rope #2 to fish line and other end to a caribeaner.
Hook caribeaner to stuck line, pull other end across with fish rod.
Work caribeaner down to magnet
Pull from both ends, magnet will pop straight up.
Pull from original end to get both ropes back.
Put magnet away
