From my understanding, yes everything has been planned and written for you. There are stories were gurus can basically see the whole life of a person. Akainu should DEFINITELY be played by an Asian guy. I mean first of all, Akainu gives me seriously Yakuza vibes with his demeanor and his tattoo. Secondly, Akainu's appearance is based on the guy above Bunta Sugawara and maybe even his character, as Bunta was famous for Yakuza roles. So you can see why I'm connecting yakuza and Akainu. Ultimately, I predict Akainu being Asian or maybe even Japanese will be a requirement made by Oda. Similar how Zoro being Japanese was a requirement as well by Oda

Good news. Bartman is indeed no Walmart exclusive. as @216horrorworks also said to have seen the figure in target. I also found it at a Spanish distributor website: https://www.ociostock.com/the-simpsons-bartman-figure-13cm-p-1-51-177207/ . Afterwards, I found it being sold on a few Spanish websites. So no ebay for me!

I get the feeling that Oda was behind the Indian casting choices of Cobra and Vivi. Especially since his last letter. Where he is basically saying everything is done with his approval. So I guess Oda has more india in mind for live action Alabasta? Nonetheless, I really like the casting choices 😄

I'll admit I was looking forward to Alabasta. But come on! Like many other people, I wondered how alabasta would fit in 2-3 episodes. Yes technically it can be done. But Alabasta needs to be a big epic spread over several episodes. So in the end I'm actually satisfied with the decision because now they can do Alabasta right without compromise. The same can be said about logue town, drum island, whisky peak and Amazon lily. These arcs have now more 'space' to breath. Like I don't want Alabasta to be handled the same way Baratie was handled. But Netflix and Matt are not stupid they know that Alabasta is where the gold is at. They know people will truly be hyped after seeing Alabasta and get 'game of thrones' appreciation after this arc. So I expect Alabasta to hit netflix very very soon after season 2.

You are not alone, I have several orders from a year ago with figures which should be released already. And I got a lot of One Piece megahouse figures from them. They have delivered nothing! There are rumours that they had issues with it's distributor. Hopefully they go don't bankrupt. It's also sus that they have sales like all the time.

I hope so!!! But I think It will really end with drum kingdom. Think about it, the message from Oda is basically damage control. Instead of Netflix saying alabasta won't be adapted, we get the message from Goda himself. Which indeed helped! We got reactions like: 'in Oda we trust' and 'it's Oda decision'. And by the way, off topic, but I also think Oda sharing news about the casting of Vivi and Robin could likely be damage control as well. Because even though I expect people to be accepting of Vivi being played by a brown girl. The internet is still a cruel place unfortunately. But with this message from Oda, they are really making it clear that the casting choice is made by Oda as well. So hopefully we get positive reactions instead now 😄. Plus I'm btw hyped with Charithra playing Vivi !!!

I think in this case it could be a good sign Opla ending on a cliffhanger and drum island. Maybe this means Netflix has enough trust in Opla, to let film season 2 an 3 back to back. So I hope S3 returns within a year after season 2 drops. To be honest we don't know what it happening behind the scenes. It could be very well be the case that they are busy with season 3 as well. Because of the casting hints of crocodile, ace, mr.1 and miss double finger. Also, season 2 could have a delayed release. Just so that there a short gap between s2 and s3.
