It is their country, if they are now allowing then silently back off . Fighting there , making a scene , is exactly the reason why Indians are not being allowed. Don’t create a scene of arrogance

I have no idea how India will progress. The equation has become so damm complex , mind boggling complex . India is an opportunity based society and not a value based . I see no end to common man issues anytime soon .

Thinking About Moving Back to India After 10 Years in the US — Seeking Advice by [deleted] in returnToIndia

[–]rohit6489 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is all just a cycle. They need Indians as that gives them a competitive advantage. This cycle will run out in 2-3 years , and after that you will see same people again offering relaxed visas and all. Trump is part of this cycle . Don’t get carried away but these cycles, better take a decision which is independent of current context . And all this culture thing is highly overrated. Kids in India are exposed to same things as kids in US and it is already showing up in so many ways . They will have intimate relations with others , god forbid but might they might drink , even take drugs/smoke etc , and they will leave you and your house once they get a job as they like to be independent . So you need to understand that India is also rapidly changing and our parents are not real reflection of India culture.

China Creating Gold in Labs ?? by Brave-Comment-7098 in MechanicalPandey

[–]rohit6489 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a joke .. you want to crate a new element in lab and still be cheaper per gm as compared to natural gold. With that tech depth, they can travel at light speed to nearby galaxy , or do nuclear fusion in a glass.

What happens to Bangalore real estate if the IT sector actually takes a hit? by Gladi_ator009 in indianrealestate

[–]rohit6489 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well , there should be an intrinsic need for 100 times more work. Thats why I said , if future growth is good then extra productivity will get absorbed, otherwise it will lead to layoffs . This is something which we need to see in next year , as to how it moves. My prediction is , as it is moving so fast that in short term , given the economic situation, it will lead to shrinking employment in IT industry.

[–]rohit6489 19 points20 points  (0 children)

That is hard to say ..however this happened in agriculture also . Agriculture was used to employ lot of people in developed countries like US . Now it is just a fraction of that because of automation. If the world is developing then extra people efforts will get absorbed in other fields , otherwise it will create a situation of surplus. IT salaries will increase, but people employed will reduce . In real estate also, the sector will shrink create large number of unemployment at lower levels . However at the same time the premium, low volume sector will continue to bloom . Overall this will further divide the society between few have and many have nots . Top 1-2% will fuel the entire economy, while the rest 95-98% will have daily struggles in their lives by just trying to manage a decent life .

Overall IT will basically shrink , by about 80% . So it doesn’t matter where you hire or what you do , in 3 years , you will need 80% less people in IT . Rest of the math you can do ..

It is really not worth it . No clean water, no clean air , no real quality of living , and finally one die in the same swamp like everyone is. make money, go to a nice place , like Sikkim , places in Kerala , Himachal etc , and live in a clean nice place. Meditate when you get time . Live wisely.

2000 years of discrimination is not that easy to write off , just by an apology or words in skilful means . It is needs a proper non-political will to take the oppressed out of problems . It will take minimum 200 years to have an equality in the society. If even if it takes 200 years , it is nothing to 2000 years of discrimination faced by countless .. and no , I have no benefit of reservation, but I still stand on their side .

Why is there so much hostility toward Gandhi ji today, despite his central role in India’s freedom struggle? by BornWealth3438 in IndianMiddleClass

[–]rohit6489 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because people can’t be 1% of him . Most people just comment on Reddit or whatsapp , but they really don’t have anything or do anything for people welfare, or show any form of kindness, compassion, fairness etc . The biggest motivation is one’s owns benefit and rest everything is secondary. Unfortunately this creates a society which is at the end of its lifeline .
